I'd say it's mostly because of the angle. It's not so much the design what's wrong but the picture itself. Shitty pose, bad proportions.

The hair is a little... wild.

Overly so I think, but maybe it's just going to be an issue in action scenes.... wait that's most of the show-

Yeah, I think it's mostly the hair atm that looks so off. Or is it hairstyle? Like in the anime promo her hair style looks like it is flying wildly in all directions while her manga look is more uniform I guess?

Wow, Ibuki Kido looks like she's becoming a rising star in the seiyuu business, which I'm happy to see

But I'm more happy to see Sachika Misawa in the cast list, since it feels like forever since I've heard her in anything

Don't see any problem with Xabac. It's a decent studio in general. For some stupid reason people associate them with ecchi but it's only about a third of their works

From all anime, that they produced (search by "Animation Production") I liked just a few (Occult Academy, Pandora Hearts and I still have Heroic Age and Rinne no Lagrange on my "to watch list"). Problem is that they creating mostly ecchi so I'm worried about quality of this show.

Also, if I don't like anime they're produce, I can't consider them as bad studio?

The only ecchi anime Xebec has produced from what I've searched include anything by Atsushi Ootsuki (Kanokon, Ladies Versus Butlers!), the To Love-Ru series and Maken-ki! Two, these are the only few they have made.
