Why does manga by this author always get butcher like hell in anime?i read the manga till part 1 so basically anime start at the final arc of part 1 of the manga.

completely unnecessary and lore breaking cameo of character from Ga rei, i mean if they are there then Ayakashi power must exist which clash with Espers setting of this anime. actually what the hell are the doing letting prime minister get capture

Very X men indeed... for some reason I am reminded of the Morlocks.

In any event that was pretty "only okay" for me. Being thrown into the thick of things like that did not really work for me here.

Still, perhaps there will be some backstory in the next few eps?

Will give next ep a try at least.

So they apparently started In Media Res? It actually kind of works. It at least caught my attention. Though what the heck was going on, I'm not so sure.

Yeah I had to pause the episode after that cameo to make sure I hadn't started watching the wrong series. Plus it's a situation that makes you go "wait what?" I mean if those two are right there why the heck wouldn't they just take care of the situation? Plus I very much had a flashback to Ga-Rei Zero thinking that guy with the guns was going to get slaughtered in that fight against the teleporter.

Oh well, seems like it will be ok. Basically X-Men just replacing mutant with esper.

Certainly a bit lost on what exactly is going on. Starting a show apparently late in a story just seems stupid to me. A lot of tension in the situation is replaced by figuring out who any of these people are.

Huh. I didn't know that this manga was penned by the same author as Ga Rei.

In any case, I only started "reading" the manga from chapter 18 so starting with a familiar scene instead of an unfamiliar one works for me.

I've read the manga while ago but I hope the show will have more humor soon. Right now, it seems a lot more like Ga-Rei which is understandable given the same author involvement. Next episode should feel a bit more like Tokyo ESP if done right.

Can't say I was very impressed. It's basically X-Men as many others have said, the animation was pretty meh, and the writing was really silly at points (also just mediocre all around).

I'll stick around to see if it gets better but it's not a good first impression.

While I liked the episode. I really hope it goes to a flashback or something in the second episode because I have no idea what's going on besides the fact there's an esper rebellion going on in Tokyo.

Came in expecting a light hearted supernatural/action/adventure thing and got X Men + lots and lots and lots of blood

This isn't what I read the summary for. I'm not sure if I can take another dark series. I'll give it one more shot.

Not a bad episode, the x-men comparisons are on point, I like the abilties they look pretty interesting and the premise so far has my attention, the are however two things that pissed me off and one of them if I'm guessing correctly is going to piss me off even more.

First it's how much the overhype "the white girl" in the episode, I don't want the anime telling me she is badass or awesome, I wnat to see it and make my own decision based on what I saw.

Second I get the feeling that her friends are gonna be the token weak people who stupidly get into trouble just so she can save them (hope I'm wrong) since they seem to have pretty useless abilities (compared to others we just saw), although the boys ability could open up awesome possibilities (think about it if he had fighting skills - which he seems to lack - he could have been a good match for that teleporter girl, now that would be a fight worth seeing) I expect nothing from him.

Either way I'm going to keep watching since it looks interesting enough to follow.

They are from different manga/anime of same author and just appeared as so called cameo, just forget about them.

Anyway that insert song was also from GRZ? Because I am absolutely sure I am not hearing it first time...
