So in the meantime, I'll drool around thinking about if it's possible to kill Takayuki off in ep. 8. He'll be dead but the girls assume he's just missing.

And then Ayu and Mayu will have the leading roles! Kimi ga Nozomu Eien will reverse mood entirely and become a comedy series about two witty girls in a Pia Carrot-style restaurant.

Or how about the two hospital girls and their life-saving antics? Oh, and a sidestory about Shinji, he'll be a better male lead. He's not sad and demented (yet) so his love stories will be more interesting.

So since this a thread for ep 8 discussion, let me start off by saying it was the greatest ep ever. I loved it when Takayuki was all depressed and confused. He walked out in a screwed up state, got hit by a bus, guts splattered EVERYWHERE (although you don't see it) he doesn't survive...

Mitsuki goes to tell Haruka what happened, they share their first kiss...it's really sweet and everything. Looks like it'll be a happy ending after all

Finished watching episode 8. One depressing episode I'd say. And ...

Takayuki is still the biggest jerk

Ok. With that out of the way, a few comments without spoiler:

- Battle for Takayuki has formally begun. Go Mitsuki!
- Akane's going to join in the battlefield. IMO there were not enough scenes in the past episodes to buildup a strong incentive for Akane but that's up for debate.
- Ayu Mayu theater is hilarious again.

Anyway, it just gets more and more complicated doesn't it? Haruka + Takayuki gets intimate but can't go further anymore once Takayuki realizes the reality of the situation... Mitsuki and Akane both getting a bit weepy and turning a bit green-eyed... This anime just continues to amaze me.
