I figured it was some weird copyright angle, but then again in a sane world Holmes would be out of copyright by now. Was unaware of the Leblanc angle though so thanks! That makes sense.
Remember reading some time ago August Derleth's "Solar Pons" story which was another Holmes 'pastiche'. |
