Pretty ironic that neither Naruto, Lee or Gaara together could take out Kimimaro in a straight fight. Just what I expect from Orochimaru's strongest warrior. The Genin won only by exhausting him to the point where his sickness couldn't be ignored anymore and he died. Never the less, a win is a win. The only thing that matters is who's standing, and who's dead.

Finally, we get to see Naruto vs Sasuke! Yay!

It would be very stupid one guy of the leaf is dead. I mean they fight against opponents stronger than them. This si why Kishimoto has no interest of killing Neji or the fatty. This is the same for kimimaro he is at first the last of his clan and this would be non sense to let him on his tree bone. If orochimaru didnt need him anymore guys from akatsuki would be very intelligent to recruit him. So i hope that the lasts words of this awesome chapter: many died doesn't mean that at least neji or the fatty friend of shikamaru died. Now about the place where naruto and sasuke are, it must be the frontier between sound and leaf cause the statue where naruto is is the first hokage. If there is just a fight between naruto and sasuke, it is sur that non of them will die and like Itachi said in episode 85 from bakafish"there is still a big difference between me and sasuke" now it will be sure that sasuke will be able to use mangekyou sharingan and this black flammes powerful jutsu. So it would be nice that the naruto sasuke fight could be interrupted by akatsuki guys. The only thong that i don't want to read is just a poor speech of sasuke true intentions, and naruto let him leave to orochimaru, it would be non sense

Kimimaro seemed to come "out" of one of the bones like he could freely move up and down each one. Kinda cool. Overall that was a very anti-climatic fight, but Gaara served up some nice dialogue.

WHAT?! Did you not see how Gaara was owning on him? The bone arm broke and Gaara EASILY saved Lee from the Cypress Dance. Honestly, if Kimi would have gotten the drop on Gaara and stabbed him, Shukaku would have manifested and killed Kimimaro. Gaara had not yet begun to fight. The only reason he looked surprised is because somebody was able to put up as much resistance as Kimi did. Still no contest though for the best Sand-nin.

Oh, and the two statues were also present in Never Ending Story.

Gaara does not concur with your assesment.

"We would have been completely beaten, wouldn't we*?" *had not Kimi dropped dead

Dispite all the thrashing Gaara gave Kimi, he still wasn't able to kill him. I doubt Shukaku can fight when his host's spine has been severed. Just like Naruto's relationship with Kyubi, if Gaara dies, no more Shukaku.

This was also another great chapter, with two totally different translations in the story. But nonetheless they were very good. But I liked INANE better, which they also managed to translate the sound effects throughout the pages.
