And again I say we have no proof Mwu is not a coordinator. :O

I thought Rau le Creuset was a Natural since la Flaga wanted a perfect copy of himself. Is this assumption wrong?

GundamOfficial also lists his genetic type as "?" but that may just be because they haven't aired up to the laboraty around episodes 45 or so - anyone remembers if anything was revealed their?

But if he was a Coordinator his problem with producing that hormone or what it was (which he has to take pills for) would have been corrected wouldn't it?

Both Mwu and Raul are natural, no point talking about it. Mwu wouldn't have needed a system overhaul on the Strike to pilot it if he had been a coordinator, and since Raul is a clone of a Natural, it is safe to assume he's 100% pure man.

It's possible that Mister Fraga was actually a newtype to begin with... And it mustn't be hard to hide the fact you're a natural when you can pilot a MS just as well as any coordinator and you have outstanding tactical capacities. At first I actually thought Raul was a mercenary hired by ZAFT, not one of their actual commanding officer...

ZAFT doesn't discriminate against Naturals, if you're good enough you're in even if very few Naturals can operate a mobile suit with the OS that the GINN originally had. It would be weird if they didn't have a medical background check but Rau might have weaseled out of that one or came up with false results somehow.

And Mwu probably could have piloted the Strike but not nearly at the same level that Kira could since the OS was so incredibly raw, even compared to a GINN OS. For the time being it was better that he provided support - and the Moebius Zero is just so cool. If only it had had a beam cannon...

True enough, the Moebius Zero is like Spike's fighter in Cowboy Bebop + Funnels, so EXTREMELY cool (even if it lacked missiles).

Man, I wonder why the MS in UC were that easy to pilot compared to the Seed models...

Might be because they were built for ordinary humans while the ones in SEED were built for Coordinators with enhanced reflexes, dexterity and all of that. When a good Natural OS came about there were some really good Natural pilots, and some Naturals didn't even need the Natural OS. I think the pilot of GAT-X133 Sword Calamity Unit 1 didn't need one, and Edward Harrelson deposed of four GuAIZ rather easily in the Blue Frame short. Lowe is also a talented Natural pilot.

Putting my money on a clone/coordinator of Rau. Basically start with the clone's DNA and then enhance it. Won't know anything till we see some more of Rey outside of battle.

But I think it's a bit of a stretch to say Rey is a direct clone of Rau because unlike NEo and Mwu, Rey and Rau look fairly different. The body structure and head structure and hair type are all different, perhaps it's Rau genes with some modifications and put into a younger body. Wow, if Rau looked like Rey when he was young, what would Mwu look like?
