Yeah, I'm not expecting it to have a movie's animation budget... but the stuff exploding in the trailer somehow already reminds me of Akira

And I doubt the episode is hiding on YouTube in Japanese tags since this show's title is in English. :P　and searching for the Japanese written equivalent (ナイトヘッド) brings up nothing. I guess episode 1 will hide from us until the fall...

That's not fair though. The Japanese sure like blocking websites and such from foreigners.

It's not the first time I've heard of a Japanese site blocking IPs.

It'd be good if we could watch the drama for now but that drama is not available subbed. By the way, what studio is doing this anime?

Just as a heads up, the official website has opened the Character section with 5 character profiles. If someone would like to translate the descriptions, that'd be awesome. Also, according to the official blog, we can expect wallpapers in the Special section soon!

Kinda sucks for ggsubs at the moment, most of the series they were subbing have recently been licensed. Let's hope they have better luck with this one

I usually don't really like supernatural anime but this one somehow held my interest. It's nothing that hasn't been done before, but it's done well so I'm curious to see where these brothers will end up.

Only things I disliked:
1) I don't like opening theme songs that have no vocals. It was generic and boring. Maybe I'll learn to like it over time.
2) Where the heck did they find that car? And who taught him how to drive?

eggplant Eggplant Join Date: Dec 2005	Jusat saw Episodes 1 and 2. Spoiler for Episodes 1 and 2: I think I understand why they decided to air two episodes in a row. The plot development for Episode 1 is quite slow, especially for an initial airing, which would normally be action packed and quick paced in order to grasp the interest of the viewer. The first half of the episode consisted of a flashback of the Kirihara brothers 15 years ago, when they were taken by the researchers and trying to escape the facility, only to be held back by a spiritual barrier. And the latter half portrays them doing the same thing 15 years later, only that old man Misaki is dead, and they succeed in penetrating the barrier. Episode 2 has an out of the ordinary barroom brawl, showing the siblings' abilities. Overall, the artwork was nothing extraordinary, but did depict the dark supernatural theme of the story adequately. Music was fitting as well. As for the protagonists and their powers, I found the younger brother Naoya's reading abilities more intriguing than tele(psycho)kinetic powers of Naoto. True, Naoya is a wimp, but I would be a disturbed person too if I had to see the truth in everyone that tried to touch me. There are many unanswered questions such as, being confined in the facility for 15 years, how is Naoto able to drive a car, not alone have access to it? Why is he loaded with cash? Are the brothers protegees of some sort? Who is Shouko (a Mikuru-like time traveler?), and what is the connection between her disappearance and the siblings? I think the plot is the driving force for this anime, although the unique ability against a ignorant world premise ala The Incredible Hulk and Elfen Lied may quickly become stale if not handled carefully. __________________ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yuri de yuri de yuriyuri ne!--Tsunomoto Rein

I think it's going to be taking some kind of... murder/mystery hunter type more than shallowed world view. I keep calling the brothers Sephiroth and Athrun because of their voice actors... >.>
