A) That is not the case. For example, with the Gundam Fight, it was done in jest. I wanted to capture the Olympic spirit.
End of discussion on G Gundam.

Gundam novels, as well as novels in general in Japan, usually have at least one illustration of an important scene per chapter. When they run in the magazines, they usually have two or three. I'm willing to be that they will have plenty of pictures of the characters and mechanics next issue.

So why do people fight, anyway?
Perhaps the meaning of existence lies within their will to fight.
People feel a sense of accomplishment through battle.
And it’s also a fact that the ones actually fighting are never perceived as being tainted.

I am hopping that the new series will follow the Zeta movies time line (hoping to see Hi-Nu Gundam animated).

Its a novel, not a new series. Besides, Amuro is officially MIA after CCA. Unless they somehow resurrect Amuro back from obsecurity, you will probably never see the Hi-Nu in animated form, unless you play SRW.

- Tak (besides, UC is getting overly convoluted for me)

I reiterate: A Gundam series with a Band of Brothers or Black Hawk Down feel and mostly Grunt MS (meaning no Gundams per se) would be a winner for me.

I'd wish they'd make a Gundam series with feel and story like Full Metal Jacket (or the old TV series Tour of Duty), but Hell will freeze over centuire sbefore I ever see that happen.

To make a closer example. A 50 episodes version of 08th MS Team would be something I would highly appreciate. But I wonder if that is something we will get to see, comparing to other Gundam shows that would be steering away from the course Gundam has been on so far.

Well, that is why you watch 08ms Team

I still love it oh-so-very-much.

50 episodes of 08th MS Team? D: That's overkill. 12 was plenty imo.

Actually, 11 was enough. Or even better, an 'extended' 11th.

The 12th came as a WTF to me.

Like 08th MS Team, but with GMs and no Gundams, actually--but I'm the minority, so report.
