Eh... there was.. NO HAPPINESS OF MARIONETTE!
u2_nighteyes plays during the whole torture sequence and there's some track I've never heard before during the coronation scene. DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN.

Because Kyoto Animation has spoiled people on what a studio can do with adaptations.
Studio DEEN is probably taking what would have been considered the normal way of doing things...if there was no KyoAni making them look bad.

But why couldn't they? What was preventing them from doing this? Did Beatrice herself burst into Studio DEEN and demand to bury them in cakes if they didn't use a different track?

Wait, is that really how it works? Track by track? That seems kind of... odd. |

That scene without happines of the marionette is 10 times more common, in the sound novel i was almost crying in the anime it was like CONGRATULATION EVA BLA BLA BLA GOODBYE.
it lacks any kind of emotion. Also they used A LOT of dai bgm and one of the best ones and one of the favourite of the fans they chose to take it out, i don`t understand deen AT ALL. |

The original song is not bad. It has a nice eerie feel to it, but it's just no HoM ;_;
TBH; I think Nighteyes for the Torture scene wasn't a bad choice. In the VN, we experience the thoughts and feeling of Evatrice, and the icnredible joy and freedom she feels thanks to her newfound powers. Moon Rabbit's Dance is good for that purpose because it just intensifies that feeling. However, in the anime, since all thoughts and descriptions are cut, it seems more like a childish act of cruelty, so Nighteyes fits the scene better in that regard. Evatrice's voice bugs me though. Didn't she have a completely different voice when she appeared in Episode 12? Now she sounds almost exactly like Adult Eva, only screechier. |

By this definition, the objective of such is to provide the essence of the source material, with an actual adaptation into the anime format. The problem isn't actually why they didn't use X or Y track. The problem is: why do they use some of them, but then just misplace others or totally ignore some. That's how I see the reactions

Ugh... this episode was pretty nice for an adaption. But god... I now remember why EP3 made me so sick and why I began hating EvaBeatrice so much. @_@;
It's nothing against DEEN... but I don't think I'll be able to watch this episode again (subbed), so I may as well rate it now...
