^ R to certain degree? Don't really suggest girls to listen to that. Well, I can't really listen past Nenige before hitting the back button.

Really kept me completely quiet till it finished playing.
Wow.. just wow. I think that was too cool... At first I was like WTF, then I was like OOOHH, then I was like suge..., then I was like why did it stop? Oh the end... kuso. Such a wide range of emotion from a 2 minute video. I liked the video, and the drum was fantastic!

That was hands down the funniest piece of nico work, I have seen in a long time. I am stealing his marisa verse to put in my ryuuseigun. That verse was pure win! I felt his pain, lol.

The pictures were so well put together, it definitely was not something he slapped together. The pictures were half the fun. If you can stand the crude topics and his not so great voice, it was pretty good. I was too busy laughing the whole time.

Many famous videos are hitting the million mark the last few days

Early this morning (US time) Usatei hit it, the original ryuuseigun is hitting it soon.

I saw this a few days back and heard about it on the 'net but since it wasn't talked-about on nico I couldn't post it here, but now that it's up the rankings...

MUTO, a wall-painting animation by Blu done in Buenos Aires and oen other place I can't remember - the original is here http://www.blublu.org/sito/video/muto.htm but there's copy of it on niconico, and I think it went up the rankings because someone must've linked to it...
Anyway, if you haven't already seen it it's really, really amazing but don't watch it if
a. a shaky camera makes you sick
b. you don't like gross things.

It's really fantastic, my favourite part was when they made the animation extend into a little cranny and go through a hole into a room...

I swear, I wasn't ROFLing when I heard the "modified" Kaze no Doukei lyric. Oh~ and NICE BOAT!!!wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

From my opinion, I think you haven't used the most out of your lung yet. I'd say it's still about 50~60%. That makes your voice get drowned by the BGM and it felt like you were just mumbling something rather than singing in quite a number of parts. You gotta practice screaming and shouting and going 130%

btw, Miyuki-san, I think you might be interested in this. (regarding your project)

I talked to Itsuki-san about Ryuuseigun the day before yesterday when we had an Offline meeting, and he was mentioning this.

Thanks for the comments, I put a lot of "extra" stuff in there, I am surprised no one commented on my IKZO x perfume thing... The nice boat thing was so random, it was just 2 takes and it was a wrap. I just had to look inside and remember what it was like to lose my videos, lol. I have asthma, so I think thats why my voice can't go 130% (but maybe thats an excuse ,he he). Actually my voice was much smaller, I mixed it so my voice was louder... Now only if more people will watch my video... how can I get it more exposure?????

That video challenge... I lost immediately, something about wrestling "create-a-character" and too much time that leads to uncontrollable laughter. Seeing perfume, cheetah men, kirby, chrono trigger people... It was too funny.

Hee, you guys have guts for posting your own Ryuuseiguns. I've been practicing today, but I'm still hesitant to post anything (just yet). I did post my Kumikyoku on my blog though when I was still weak at it.

I looked through that real quick... Yea, surprised how "popular" this idea is. xDDD

I don't know though, kinda wanted to organize one that's only from the English community (and thus, totally ignore the fact that some people can't pronounce Japanese correctly). >_>;;;

Which reminds me. SHAMELESS PLUG TIME! Sorry for the cap.

Ryuuseigun Utatte Mita? / Post 2 / Post 3

That's the project(?) Dawn mentioned. Anyone interested? Currently have about 8 that signed up directly, excluding peole they may be able to drag to the thing. I'm thinking of maybe waiting 'till Wednesday to see if I can get the 10 direct sign-ups, since I don't want people to wait forever without an answer on rather the project's gonna take off or not. And the fact that I'm the type that cools down real quick so I want a result for myself before I lost interest. >_>;;;;

Gimme a poke on my LJ post (it's open for comment to people with no account) if you're interested. (Don't wanna fill this post up with OT stuffs.)

Oh, currently there's no plan to upload it to Nico, but if the project does take off I'll do a poll and everyone that participates can vote on rather they want it uploaded or not. (Also don't know if it's worth it to upload to YouTube, since the video'd have to be cut into half.)

I would sooooooo totally take part in that if it isn't for the fact that I suck entirely at singing (I guess I can admit now, that godawful kumikyoku in the last Animesuki karaoke contest was me and another AS member - yes, it really really sucks, it's not even funnily bad)

I can't even think of interesting jokes to throw in, so with regards to ryuuseigun I'll just... ROM LOM around for a while. Heheh.

I sure wish I could take part in some collaborative nico project among foreign/English-speaking users, like doing a crack dub of something, but I guess it won't happen - if you guys ever need a picture or something I can draw one for you though (´・ω・`) but I'm sure you probably have a lot of contacts who can draw fantastically.

So, he's already been mentioned a bunch in this thread, but have people noticed what Hyadain's been doing lately?

Latest song: Quick Man de QUICK!!!
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3336416

(transitions into Flash Man de FLASH!!!)

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm2821325

(transitions into Crashman de Yaranaika?)

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm3100816

I think Hyadain is aiming for the COMPLETE CYCLE of MM2 boss songs . Only 5 more to go before we can check out the full ~25 minute mix.
If he completes it it'll be the most epic song cycle since Mahler.

Thats why hyadain is the shit... but I never noticed it. The MM2 boss themes were nice, and hyadain's touch gives them a nice new flavor. But if he does it for mm2, there will be a huge demand for him to do it for other series... I personally would want him to do a zelda lttp "mega mix", but it doesn't really seem like something he played...

Man miku hatsune never sleeps... This fan vid of her dancing the Saikyo Pare Parade live version. I thought it was pretty impressive, after watching the millions of other real girls doing it on nico (I love all those ladies), I found this one. Miku miku dance... nico is too big, I miss too much of this stuff. I saw a couple miku miku dance stuff on my trip thru the tried dancing channel... more stuff I need to watch.

And then we have this one... polysics x idolm@ster "I my me mine". I am so happy polysics got some rankings "lovin". I love polysics so this is really great for me. But I really want to import a xbox 360, just to play idolmaster... that game is the source of too much fun. Have any of you guys played idolm@ster, or better yet uploaded some of your gaming content to nico?

Wired has an article about 2ch founder and niconico partner Hiroyuki Nishimura. The article touches on 2ch culture, nico culture and other things.
