Sengoku Koihime Girls 12 - The Technobabble That Actually Wasn't Much of Anything
Magical Tokunyan vs Sengoku Sentai, STARTS NOW! A bit of a slow start to the episode, but when it begins with Date going into a technobabble that would make Star Trek blush, only for Nobunaga to just cut it off with "You're from another country, right?", it gets points in my book. Sure, Hideyoshi and Date didn't do anything during the big fight, but they don't really have weapons. There were enough fighters in the ring as it was. And once the action got started, did it ever get started. Even the Saigoku Three showed up again. (And, like Date's technobabble, were cut off from doing another long-winded introduction). Hideyoshi's idealism seemed a little misplaced at first (she's basically got a magical death satellite, bit of a risky venture to save her), but it lead to the Yuri Harem ending prophesized back in episode 7. "Nobunaga-onee-sama~". I, like Shiro, have no problems with this. Now onto the last of the lingering issues. The same that Naoya and Cinque have. How is she going to get back home? |

The action was abit too sgort but considering how this series were this whole time, I'm not really suprised. Besides the action they gave was really good, it is hard to find any good team work in animes lately.
And Ieyasu was aweasome whole time This episode also had bunch of great spundtracks which I can't wait to get.

This is why I'm not too keen on such series' being so short or at least don't have any (obvious) planned sequel series(') in the works.
With a series only 12-13 episodes long, they tend to leave quite a bit open while wrapping up the "main" points in the last 1-2 episodes, which makes it feel very rushed. Then again, this wasn't exactly a deep or serious series to begin with, so it's not like it was MEANT to do anything besides entertain overall, with a bit of fan-service, lol.

At last...the Gathering....."
The moment Yoshimoto turned up I knew the rest would show up as well. Did Oda learned a hard lesson from the 3 wise Elders.( thats Yoshi, Shingen, Kenshin...) Maybe thats why it was seperated. As for Ieaysu, she would eventually joins Oda and the way she did it and seeing it on the faces on the others was priceless!!!! Hideyoshi & Date....wonder if that devise works....will they go or not???

Actually, she seemed to do quite a bit really, only she used words over fists.
As mentioned, just seeing the way she was at the beginning would make it obvious that she'd have no real input in such a big battle in terms of action like that.

Episode 12
Hm hum, nice battle, and greatly animated to boot. I can't really complain about it being short, because, well, FPS gaming showed me that whenever it's all against one, it's not going to be a long fight
But when Tokunyan called the Hanzou's useless and blew them away, I was like aww, you Hanzou's aren't useless. Come with me, and I can have a hundred fun ways till Monday! *get's secret techniqued* Ahem, anyways, does Hideyoshi fall into the Nanoha category, of not defeating the enemy and instead being friends with her? Really, she wanted to save Tokunyan, so... But when she called Nobunaga "Oneesama", that was so going to happen. Never mind that though, how dare she motorboat my Nobunaga-chan! Them big ones are for me only! Now I wonder, will Hideyoshi go back home? It'd be even funnier if Masamune goes back into the future, but in a different time, and gives the e-reader to another person to start the whole thing again Quote:
Hideyoshi was the lead? I thought it was Nobunaga *runs* |

And as far as not being able to do nothing goes, she also doesn't end up high-and-mighty and lecturing others to a degree.

So far they seem to be missing 3 characters from the sengoku otome game(which the anime is based on)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2tM9N...layer_embedded They may show up in a new season Also what do you think the 3 of them are? And there is only one episode left and i notice the ending of episode 12 is focusing on the armor for some unknown reason |

I'm going to guess atleast one of them is "Shimazu"?
But actually seeing Date and Hideyoshi fighting in the game is refreshing from how they were in the anime. But that's to be expected when two people from the future are sent to the past where people are accustomed to fighting.
