There is room for more story, but it doesn't feel like it's absolutely necessary. The far-flung future stuff keeps a new door ajar, but the main story is complete. If this is it for Valvrave, I could live with it. But a future story focusing on Shouko, Saki, Akira, and Satomi could be fun. And yeah, it could make up for the major female characters getting shafted a bit in this ending.

Speaking of the problem with Runes, I'm surprised they didn't pull something out of their ass to solve that problem in the epilogue. That means Shoko is gonna slowly lose her memories and eventually her life.
As for L-Elf's ultimate fate in the future, I guess we're gonna have to go on the eventual Word of God for a definitive answer. Like Triple R said, if he's dead then I would expect him to have a bust as well. But his absence from the timeskip would lead me to believe he's gone.

What a Train Wreck its not even worth giving a full summery. Gimmick writing is by far the worst way to write a story. The potential was there but it was a struggle to get through VV after seeing where it headed. Plot hole, useless deaths, leaving more questions at the end than in the beginning, plot device.
There is no way in hell i can give this episode anything above 4/10. It was just that awful

Okouchi was mentioning in his twitter he wanted to leave things to the viewer's interpretation, even if he left hints (including the Imperial Prince's parentage). Which usually translates: "we don't want to anger our major fanbases with a steady anger, so please speculate!"

By the way, where did Okuchi say that? It's like he knows he is pissing off a lot of people and wants to dodge the bullet |
