I'm like the new outfits, especially Ruby's and Blake's. Weiss looks older, but that probably has more to do with the mature clothing style.

Having a trauma and being in depression does that to you.

I would not be surprised if post-timeskip she is still sulking at home.

Based on that concept art she probably still is. OTOH Blake is probably knee deep in something to have such a rapid change in outfit, and Weiss is probably still stuck at home.

Why doesn't Yang just have a prosthetic punching arm yet? You'd think she'd have one by now for basic convenience alone.

Since her punches are strong enough to shatter government-owned military mecha into pieces, I doubt there's a prosthetic strong enough to withstand her semblance. Even if there was, Atlas is kind of closed off now and treated as world-enemy number one. An its lead scientist most likely hates Vale.

Also she most likely does not want to. Depression does not work on convenience.

Atlas would be the only place with enough tech to provide her some parts ala Ironwood so it's probably understandable. On that note I guess we'll actually see her get a new arm when the cast gets to Atlas at some point.

Unfortunately, a deal with Atlas will pull her into their side with Weiss (through connections of Winter with Atlas), possibly against the going-guerilla Blake and the still-lawful-good-so-far Ruby.

I doubt she could even get a deal. How would it go? "OH hey, you are part of the guys who tore Penny to shreds, as well as the girl who broke a guy's leg on live tv. Sure let's help you!". And since the communications are down, she would need to GET to Atlas first to even ask for it, which, well, is kind of hard.

As for poor old Rubble, alas, all of the things about her design and behavior within the teaser seem to point towards her tumbling towards the self-destructive future, the same way her uncle Qrow did, what's with her looking hella rugged with torn cloak, torn stockings and all

We're talking looking literally twice her age. I don't buy that much of a shift in appearance.

The animation on that was pretty fantastic. Generally Volume 3 was a step above Volume 2, but this was leaps and bounds above anything they've done. I assume it's mostly because of their full migration to Maya, which means better efficiency and judging from the way Ruby fought almost Monty level of choreography.

The hype train leaveth the station.
