Sure sucks for the handhelds because they don't get the "challenge" aspect that consoles have to offer.

Here's an Advance Tutorial System walkthrough of the game. My excitement for this game knows no bounds. It looks like this game won't be "simple" as people might say, but that's just me. None the less --Challenge accepted!!

finally, some explanation on status ailments

loving that A+C dash. it's like the mist step on SFxTK/Tekken
I wonder if you could cancel it through crouching and do another dash, just like the umvc3

lol EX moves

I really like the A+C dash mechanic as well because it looks like it could be used not only for escapes but mix-ups as well. I think you can crouch during it but I'm going to have to watch old videos to confirm this -- I could be wrong so bear with me.

EX moves it's not unexpected because it's a popular mechanic in fighting games these days. Jin from Blazblue has "EX" properties in the game so no surprises there.

You have no idea how hyped I am for this game. It's already per-ordered and ready to go. The wait sucks but in the end it'll be worth it!

It's funny how they forgot to mention the fear stat ailment, that prevents you from teching throws and if you get counterhit during that state it will become a fatal counterhit instead.Or the freeze and silence stat ailments, eventhough they are obvious how they work.

Yeah, I wondered about that. I think someone is going to make a proper video about thoroughly explaining status aliments in full detail so I wouldn't worry about that.

Air teching and throw teching really should have been in the basic techniques video, while they should have included One More cancels in the Advanced Techniques video.

True, but then again this is basic tutorials being presented by a company not by professionals. If it were a professional video thinks like RC, tech throw escapes, status ailments, and instant blocking etc. would be included in the long run. It's just my guess.

I never said Instant block was basic. I was pointing out if a profession were doing a tutorial video they'd possible include the basics and the advance stuff of the game. Tutorial from companies I find sort of leave out some stuff, but that's just me though.

Lazy? I'd rather not see a different cover, considering all the boxart tampering that's been done over the years. *reminisces about original Megaman cover*

Instant block is pretty basic for Arksys fighting games though. It's not even worth it to make a tutorial video for that one though.

As for tutorial videos, if you are lucky enough then there is a chance that the character that you are using will get such a video made by a decent player. Companies themselves aren't exactly fighting game players, so you can't expect them to make such a thing.
The best thing they can do , is to make a decent tutorial mode (or in this game's case a challenge mode) as an introduction to a specific character. But those challenge mode combo's are not always the most optimal combo's though and other players will find eventually better combo's.

In the end don't see a need to change up the box art for different areas. Going to be the same game inside minus the translations. Besides the box art looks fine and since I'll only look at it when pulling the game off the shelf that's good enough .

Agreed, to me all that matters is the game get getting released with a cool box art in my opinion. At least the art will be easy to identify when you're taking it off your shelve.

Here's an article link preview of paid DLC Persona 4 Arena character glasses mods.

So what do you think good idea or rip-off?

As always, depends on the price. If it's a dollar or two I'd buy the whole set, but I won't buy any if it's more than that. My bar is set pretty darn high for paid dlc, and I'm only going to shell out if its good. And palette change/gkasses IMO are not worth more than a buck or two.
