-Swimming, most obvious for everyone, since ep 2 -She hasn't touched the drink in the first restaurant discussion scene since ep 4. -Job, she just sits there not interacting with the kids or others, this ep. -Stargazing this ep. I think part of the reason the producers are not going with traditional ground hog day loops is that they want to show Yuki giving up more and more. So she not even in full blown I-don't-fucking-care-anymore mode yet. We will probably see her not bothering to buy masks for the final loop. |

There has been much mention of Yuki's patience during the Endless Eights. Wasn't that, also, a main point made during the Tanabata episode? Additionally, didn't Kyon complain during the Tanabata episode about having the think too much and wanted a period of peace and quiet? Well, he has that now.

The nerd rage caused by Endless Eights both here, in /a/ and elsewhere is what makes this season of Haruhi Suzumiya awesome.
This is why I keep watching, and keep following it. Because damn the nerd rage is hilarious. Edit: and yes, I have indeed noticed that Yuki seems to be more and more bored with it all from episode to episode. Each loop that's animated, she does less and less, interacts less, spends more time reading. Eventually will she become bored enough to tell Kyon about the loop before Mikuru fails to return to her time period?

I got a kick out of the Kyonkun Denwa overload, and her delivery of it this ep was awesome.
Has someone has already done one with all of Koizumi's "I Ruv yous?"

I'm getting the ep now, it's the same thing, but it's always nice to see more Yuki. Who cares about story anyway, closes in Yuki is what i want. |

The first couple of times it repeated it was aight because I had the attention span to pay attention to the various subtleties. Now that we just finished the 7th episode though, I'm thinking it's gone on a bit too long. Didn't hold my attention at all, and I know the 6th episode was somewhat painful too. I haven't read the source material so I'm not sure where this 'Endless Eight' thing comes into play. But if what they're doing is being faithful to the material, then I can't hold it against them.

So really, KyoAni's response to all the angry fanboys might as well be something along the lines of some Imperial Witchhunter: "All unbelievers MUST DIE!!" Thank God I didn't have to buy any of this crap direct to DVD, which was how all the R1 licensors have been selling anime up till now! |
