She's only uttered a grand total of five words in this episode, but yup, very good choice. I missed her Korone voice. Surprised Kaoru Chujo hasn't posted in this thread yet.

one of the most original plot for any series i've seen in quite a while. and it would seem that the hilda/queen fight next episode will be epic!

It would seem that the translator has taken a lot of liberties, but it works at least. But man, great episode, well any with Aoi is great

How so? I found that Quarkboy did a fantastic job with Crunchyroll's release.

Well, one example was quoted above: "What are you, 12!?"

A literal translation would have been "What are you, in grade-school/elementary school?"

The former is better for comedic timing.

Well not saying it's bad, it's still good. Just some changes were made or added, like when Oga said "Take this kid and be his mother." well, all he said was "Will you be his mother", or Aoi nee-san literal meaning is "Big Sis Aoi", rather than Madam Aoi.

It's minor really, just stating the obvious.

I know that already, it's just that going by your post you were comparing Quarkboy's Crunchyroll translation to the fan translation of the manga. My bad.

Only late because I just watched the episode. Great to see Ao-chan raking in the dough by doing small roles. She made the absolute most of her five words. Good week for her, with the excellent delivery of the last line of this week's Gosick, too. And her appearance on Hiyama Nobuyuki's radio show was good.

Otherwise, as well, a terrific episode. Toyosaki Aki excellent, too.

It's an endless shounen. Since there's probably going to be a huge number of episodes, they gotta make gotta make the budget stretch pretty far. And since the plot takes awhile to heat up in this series, it was probably a pretty easy decision for them to keep costs down on the first few episodes. (though I can't say that's the case with absolute certainty)

Can't believe I missed this on the forthcoming winter anime chart. I was trying to decide whether to wait until it's aired completely or watch now, I went with the later and wished I would have waited so i could have watched them all in 1 go.

Also if I had known about the OVA basically being a spoiler for entire series I would not have watched that either, although it was the best episode imo lol

Well, seeming how they've already scheduled 50 episodes... Yeah, I'd have to say you'd be waiting for a long time XD

Aoi was definitely awesome. Really managed to show some excellent skills and some really cute moments at the same time. She definitely got closer to laying a good attack than any of the other characters so far. Though it seems Oga's ability to throw out amazing lines is definitely something she can't handle.
