Please be warned, the stream is very very laggy and cuts in and out a lot. Even so it's a great preview for the game.

I'm pretty sure it was by the company mantantv, and they were either covering news on it or working with/for alchemist. To bad I missed the actual gameplay footage.

I really like the new backgrounds. And character's mouths actually moving in sync with the dialogue is like...magical.

MANTANTV had a live interview with Alchemist producer exactly 26 hours ago, and he gave them the game to show the live viewers

The interview has been uploaded on youtube, split into 5 parts:
1st part, 2nd part, 3rd part, 4th part, 5th part.

They only start unpacking the game and launching it on the fourth part. Nothing really that fancy aside of the intro, some functions.
Surprisingly, no "mute specific characters" function in there (not like I care, but some characters might be the bane for some people).

Considering the opening is still used for even Episode 1, and the booklet, the target is 100% for those who already played the original game or have seen the anime.
Any newcomer starting with it are unlikely to be spared by spoilers.

No unlock from the start it seems. (or at least in the video)

As much as I like the first two episodes I was hoping to jump to eps 3+4 right off the bat.
Oh well, re-reading isn't going to kill me.

Ah, I can't wait to buy this. It looks so pretty. Need to get myself a PS3 first, of course. Then import it which will probably run me close to $80-90. I sure am intending to shell out a lot of cash for a game I can't even read.

Depending on where you buy it from it's going to be at least $95

The places with the other pre-order deals are going to be more or less depending. I know the deals with the body pillows are like way way more.

Oh, I didn't pre-order it. I don't even have a PS3 yet so it'll probably be another month or two (or three of four ect) before I'm looking at importing it. Hopefully I can find it at a good price then.

She is far too annoying for me to get through watching that. Talk about a character mute function, how about we mute her.
I'm kind of disappointed by the lack of narrator voice, they should've got ryukishi to read it.

In all regrets it's best not to have the narrator voiced. 1. The narrator does a lot of talking. 2. Dead space isn't bad, seeing how VNs are recorded dub wise.

Plus why would you want the narrator to be put with a voice? I rather read it how I want and now how someone decides to go about speaking it.

Not only voiced narrator is nearly impossible in practice, it is much worse in Umineko as the narration -shifts- between the inner thoughts of a character and the third person.

Unless they make all the inner thoughts by the characters echo or something, and third person read by Ryuukishi.
