Just saw the new PV for "Ikoku Meiro no Croisée". The animation looks pretty good. I'm not a big fan of Western historical settings (feels to much like history class ), but this just might be worth it.

Surprised this wasn't posted yet.
Momo e no Tegami. New movie by Jin-Roh Director. synopsis "Dear Momo" — that was all that was written on a letter left behind by Momo's late father. Momo and her mother have just moved from Tokyo to the countryside of Japan's Inland Sea. On an island lies a wondrous town surrounded on all sides by quaint homes and nature's landscape. Even as Momo starts a new life, she wonders, "Father, what did you really want to write in your letter…?" One day, she discovers an ancient book in the attic, and from that day forward, strange happenings occur all around Momo. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...o-open-in-2012 |

Kokoro Connect (light novel) gets PV
The plot somehow involves body-switching. PV: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1MzZbkvfDo Edit: You might be right, applejuice. I hadn't been able to confirm that part.

Kyoto animation? Could you state source for it? Since I can't find any clue other than 2ch people saying its Oonuma Shin/Silver Link touch...
Edited: That animation definitely isn't something I used to see in Kyoani world.

Body switching of all things... the concept of it seems almost hentai (Body Exchange). Though the reception of it is apparently pretty good on amazon... This is definitely no K-ON, I take that back but the art style and the moeness will attract K-ON enthusiasts to watch it either way.

That's because Horiguchi Yukiko, the character designer of K-On + other kyoani works, did the illustration of [the original light novel]. That's pretty much only relevance I could find from animation being 'Kyoani-ish'. Of course I might be wrong, but there are no source that Kyoto animation is actually animating this.

But we know that 'certain studio' must have animated that PV, which can easily be related to the possible future release. Since light novel is apparently very popular, I saw a lot of people who is discussing about studio which might have showed it, and Silver Link X Oonuma Shin was one of the popular prediction (mainly due to the conti direction).

OMG! kokoro connect is getting an anime??!!! OMFG!
mah, i read the first chapter of the manga, the raw one, last year and i thought it's interesting. And yeah, the LN caught my attention since yukiko horiguchi drew the art(she was using an alias ''Shiromizakana" but one can never deny her artstyle XD) and aki toyosaki's casted in it. so, i'm on to this!! EDIT: i think it's just the drama cd. it's due feb. 2011, this month.. DX Last edited by BaKaBaKaOtaKu; 2011-02-18 at 06:05. |
