A possible explanation for the return of the Super Saiyan God is that since Dyspo's main talent is his speed, they'll reveal the God form is faster than Blue (I think that's how it is in the manga?). It fits God's leaner design too.

I still think the main reason for goku to change into the red form is a tribute of battle of gods since goku is going to fight against that Beerus look alike guy, and nothing more

the problem is which if that guy is "that weak", then why hit could need any help or goku against him???, just because he could be "more fast"???, don't make too much sense goku tag team with hit to beat a guy which he don't even need go blue to beat, one of them could be more than enough to beat him if he is on red level, since hit is on blue + kayoken level.

Universe 10 got eliminated. Figures as much since they've been losing a lot of their warriors quickly. The angel though genuinely felt sad about her Gowasu and GoD being erased.

yah, i really feel bad for the universe 10, the guys don't really looked like "bad guys" which we could hate or want then to be dropped, specially gowasu he really was a nice kaioshin even the god of destruction don't looked like a "evil or borderline evil guy", i really feel bad for then..., for the angel, really based on some of the angels i can't really see it as a "plot from all angels and the high priest", since i really doubt whis or his sister and that other angel girl, don't really liked/wanted to get ridle of they GoDs, if it's something then is something with only high priest or high priest and few of then, or just zeno.

well honestly before peoples can say which zeno is a nast person and crap, remember the same nasty and crap guy was the one which created the universes in first place and for the same reason he is destroing was the one to be create, he just do things which he think are fun for him, if it's up to create or destroy life.

A whole universe of life, and 99.99% of them were snuffed out without even knowing the reason why......hell they probably have no idea what even happened to them.

well to be fair probabl they didn't have time to feel anything, and just disappear before they brains could even know what was happening, then at last they don't have any suffer, it was almost like they just never existed in first place.

I suppose that Oburi was the stronger in U10

And the Yadoran is a good support

Well, some Angels care for their Universe, or their GoD, as to Whis and Vados I doubt it.

17 is so hilarious going with the flow with piggy lol. So still the theory that the angels are antagonist or it jus the universe 9 angel that is sick?

For the look of it hit is going to be eliminated soon by jiren, it would be cool that will be the shock of the tournament, a heavyweight eliminated already.

Nice episode. Cus is genuinely sad that her universe is gone.

The locket scene...damn it!

Also, does anyone noticed that GoD of Universe 12 (the fishman) is rather unhappy when another universe got removed when it has nothing to do with him while other GoD just lol with it.

Have the feeling that Geene is actually a nice person.

I thought in the manga, it was revealed that red uses less energy than blue. Either way, it'll be interesting to see what reason the anime gives us as to why SSG red has been brought back. Because I'm sure we're going to get some sort of explanation.

On another note, will Goku or Vegeta reveal that they know the flicker tactic in the anime now that the red form has officially returned?

I am actually with Red being speedy mode while Blue being power mode. At least those will make transformation somewhat unique instead of "More power!".

Gowasu didn't deserve this.
Killed two times by Zamasu and Goku Black.
And here two Zenohs to erase him completely by their own each one hand.
He was lucky enough to escape his power from Future Trunks's timeline, so he knows Zenoh's powers is real.

I don't like those two Zenoh's cheerful faces each time when they proceed to erase one Universe and still look forward to a good fight right after not knowing what is wrong with the fighters that stopped moving.

Gohan - Feeling the weight of his actions in this nonsensical tournament.

Goku - Enjoying himself like a fat kid loose in a candy store without a care in the world. Doesn't even reflect on the consequences of his actions.

So Gohan got his screentime, pew, finally over with it. Hopefully he stays offscreen for ages till his defeat.

Now to the good parts of the episode. Goku(study the fighting style) and C17(evil guy) and the parallels around them were actually quite funny.
The best thing was the preview for the next episode though.
Totally hyped about the Kōshi user. If Goku learns that technique he will be unbeatable. Doubt that he'll like a non-body-contact fighting style though.
Caulifla as well for a short glimpse in the next episode. She became a seal of quality for a exciting episode. Yepp, yepp, next episode is going to be good.
