Tracker is down again, huh. This would've made for an interesting match to watch, involving the last bastion of resistance against the Puella Magi. If Ika falls here, a Puella Magi reaching the crown is almost assured.

Despite what the haters say, a 45 vote gap / 47% loss is a respectable finish and gave Madoka a good run for her money, a far, far cry from the curbstomping they expected. I rest easy knowing Sayaka won't ever give them that satisfaction. And neither would we, not on our watch. *high fives spirits having flown and Triple_R

1位 336票 <<巴マミ@魔法少女まどか☆マギカ>>
2位 293票 <<イカ娘@侵略!イカ娘>> What it looks like: Ika getting close What it must be: lol fake central No big spikes as of yet, but the curves are just too smooth, which makes is look like a steady flow of votes. Which can't be.

With Kuroneko eliminated, I only have Ika-Musume left for this year's Saimoe, but with the current results only a ton of miracles could save Ika-chan to make it to the semi-finals.
Spoiler for Her fitting end this year's Saimoe:

As for the match, let's just hope that Mami has a million fake votes so we don't get the ultra-boring 3/4 PMMM semi-finals with Kyouko knocking out Erica for sure. |

All right guys, here's what you do.
Download this. Unzip. Edit config.ini with Notepad. Change codehead (at the bottom) to AST11. Open AnimeMoe10Counter. Click Update Now, then hit View Result. For those of your who feel this is a bit too much...this is the situation heading into the final hour... Spoiler for results...:
Fasten your seatbelts, we're gonna be in for it.

I have a good feeling that Ika is going to win this, as she has consistently won more hours than Mami. And Mami's only real success was during the first hour...for which I'm hoping was comprised of a lot of fake votes.. Or maybe that's just me hoping this contest doesn't end in complete and utter fail.
Because this is it. The finals. It's something or nothing.

Here's a possibility I'm tossing around. Ika is leading by about 30, well now it's 50. Either one of two scenarios is taking place.
1. Madoka Kaname fans are voting for Ika because they feel the Goddess has a better chance of progressing to the Final if it's against her rather than Mami, which is the strongest of the Puella Magi. The drawback is that Ika is now the legit piece of resistance to the cause, since she essentially claims the non-PMMM vote. 2. The rush hasn't happened yet. If the rush does not happen, I think I have to go with scenario 1 here.

Ika's vote totals in this match are well beyond what she received before in any round in this tournament. And Kuroneko hit new heights against Kyouko, albeit in vain. I think there are some Saimoe voters that want to stop a PMMM Saimoe 2011 victory, or at the very least want to keep all-PMMM matches down to a minimum (especially for the finals).

Hachiko is now projecting a win for the Squid Girl, based on the recent trends and the results from the vote tracker.
EDIT: Aaaaaaand Hachiko is taking that projection back, because here comes the rush.
