Great to see Kyouko win!

Anyway, I'm supporting 3) Yui Hirasawa next.

And the vote count went down once more. I guess it was not as hyped up as Yuri vs. Sayaka.

Voting for Yui. Make sure the winner does not make it to the top.

Meh, I had to go Mio as well. But she won't make Final Four.

Kyouko advances! Well done Kyouko, you carry within you Sayaka's memory, and the hopes of the Madoka★Magica faction as one of only two Puella Magi left standing in this tournament.

Voted:
3.) Yui Hirasawa (K-ON)

Close match for Mio, but she continues on..... but then I check the time graph and Yui was leading more than half of the way through the match.

Can someone tell me if Mio is cheating? It seems like the same thing that happened in her match against Homura happened here as well.

I'm neutral between Yui and Ohana, and I have yet to watch Iroha. So... I'll go Ohana.

Yui actually led most of the way, then Mio suddenly got a vote spike.

The looming threat of a repeat Mio win draws ever closer.
Now I just wonder why my country shows up as white on vote distribution maps...
I'd like to believe that even if I'm the only person voting from here, my vote should at least count.

4.) Yui (Angel Beats!)

Well a repeat win would be a first for any of these tournaments.

This may be something very serious, or just plain slip of finger somewhere. Please tell us which country you are voting from. I very strongly recommend you post about this at http://anizone.net/Moet_Inter_Forum . Perhaps Eundong might have set something wrong by mistake when he was trying to enhance Vote Checking Algorithm. Even though they talked about it, they have NOT implemented any block based on national or regional origin of the IP . If you register in Anizone account, I recommend you sitemail Eundong at http://anizone.net/index.php?module=...receiver_srl=4 with your IP address. If you really trust me, you can give me the IP address and I can relay your message and explanation of the situation in Korean to Eundong, but for many reasons, I think it is best you contact him directly. In Anizone, click on '銀童' under author and option to 'send message' should appear.

Create 3 categories for character's time-cumulative vote graph. 1 would be the case similar to Mio today and also Mio in the Mio vs Homura match, 3 would be case similar to Yui today and Homura in the Mio vs Homura match, and 2 would be something you are not sure. Tell us which character in which match showed pattern 1, which other character in which match showed pattern 2, and who and in what match did pattern 3 appeared. I suspect vast majority to be more or less like 3, and very few cases to be 1 or 2. Once we separate the vote-time patterns into these 3 categories, we might get better idea about this.

Sure, Mio makes final 8. But, the remainder of her competition remains strong. If anything, this upcoming round would be it.

I confirmed with Eundong that your vote did count as it should. There just is little trouble with world map thing which sometimes incorrectly identifies the national origin for an IP address. This trouble is a known issue which should occur very rarely.
