You do realize that different from Saber, Tohka didn't know a single thing about modern Earth as well as her lack of interaction with humans society while Saber has enough information from the grail, right ?
Still, Tohka can act mature in serious situation. You can check the moment when she taught Shidou how to use Sandalphon to stop the Yamai sisters, or when her precious Shidou was shot in vol 1, or how she doesn't hesitate to jump into battle to help Shidou in vol 2, 3, 4.

This and every time she appear in the human world someone try to kill her...hell the first time she meet Shidou, she thought that he want to kill her.

Shidou was the first one to try to be friend with her and we all know how this end XD

I'm just saying she's just too childish. I liked her personality at the start but after she got sealed she was just like a little child. All she does is say "SHIIIDOO" in annoying voice. Note:I didn't read the LN so I don't know about her changes and I'm really looking forward to inverse Tohka. I also don't get what her being attacked by humans and not knowing much about earth has to do with her having a childish personality. Wouldn't that mean all spirits should have a similar personality?

My main point is that Saber and Tohka are two different type characters. I also don't believe DAL took anything from FSN. Unless there ends up being only 7 spirits or something.

Well, there are differences between the two, definitely. Saber was from Earth, but from a different timeline, and in Tohka's case, she never had the luxury of ever learning about the alien world that she was thrust into. Just put this in perspective, Tohka had a grade A spacequake threat, so it would be much harder to get under the radar, considering the spacequake caused by her appearance is much larger than that of say, Yoshino, who has a grade C.

Her childish exuberance is probably caused by her curiosity, which would have manifested itself much earlier if she hadn't been living under the threat of being attacked every time she appeared on Earth. Moreover, part of why she does behave clingy towards Shidou is also the fact that he's the person she trusts most (not unlike a child towards a parent). The Spirits would vary in personality anyways, and we could see how some of them dealt with constant attacks (Yoshino, Kurumi), but also how they adjusted. Tohka's lack of smarts also makes her look more childish, since she literally takes some of the information fed to her as common knowledge.

Overall though the two characters have some similar traits, but nothing more than that.
