Much like Shiroth, I don't think they would adapt the manga at such a slow pace if a sequel wasn't guaranteed. I can definitely see the last 13 remaining chapters of the manga becoming a third 12-episode season, but I hope it comes out in 2008.

That's it? It's over? Aww, just when Ogiue was finally becoming more honest with her feelings.
I do hope there's another season, I don't care if they bring new characters to the club as long as we get to see a conclusion for Sasa x Ogiue |

Usually I don't read the manga if I saw the anime first. BUT, this horrific feeling of wanting more got the best of me. Imma start to read Genshiken just to finish it off. Too sad to be leaving me on such a beautiful cliff that I hang from. This is definitely is the type of anime I would absolutely love to see more of... just a nice little slice-of-life we can all share. Very inspiring...

there's got to be more. The camping part in the manga is essential to one of the important plot lines in the story. I think the rejection of the camping suggestion in the anime is used as foreshadowing for the next Genshiken season/OVAs.
Nevertheless, it's great to see the anime devoting more time to Sasahara's job hunting. The manga totally breezes over that and hardly gives any details to his frustration and how that's affecting his usual cool. |
