I didn't find SZS terribly entertaining, but ZSZS was excellent to me. That said, this is the Mariaholic thread, so less SZS, more trap discussion?

I wasn't sure of watching this anime since, Me no likey trap/yuri characters, but after seeing this GIF. It made me curious and watched ep 1.

I loved the OP animation and the single is somewhat fitting. Matsurika X trap scenes, not only maid-guitar, are really something else. Scratch that! Everything related to Matsurika is just surreal

Finally I found the replacement of Enneus :P

I wonder if this will continue throughout the whole series..or its just a one shot meant for ep 1 only..since they didn't include the ED in ep 2.

Oh how could i missed the ED illustration for 2nd episode

I thought the illustration was placed before the sponsor credit scene,but actually its after.

Anyway the illustrator this time was Jin Kobayashi (School Rumble mangaka).

NOW THATS MY DEAR GOD ERI SAWACHIKA

Although i hate Jin Kobayashi for what he did but that illustration somehow made me forget the hateness...Maria look more devilish with that sharp eyes of "her".

Yeah, it's pretty awesome when other artists can capture the character with their own style.

Finally have a chance to write about this… Thanks to my stupid job. ):

For the second episode, I think I didn't like it as much as I did for the first. In fact, I don't seems to like anything that's done by Yasuhiro Mori (e.g. Kannagi ep. 4, Hidamari Sketch ep.11 and now this). The balancing in the episode is quite bad, too many manga panels usage or even too many still shots. The technique is okay but the timing is bad. I still enjoy the episode, though, just not very satisfy…

Anyway, looking forward to the third episode, since it's the first time Tatsuwa Naoyuki assuming the Episode Director position. The name Iwasaki Yasutoshi is presented here means some part of the animation will be done by Studio Giants (who participate in a lot of Xebec's works).
