More Minami-ke is always good news, but there's always the nagging question of who will animate it. Asread again... just won't do.

Tari Tari website open. Confirmed for summer, animated by PA Works.

Directed by Professor Layton movie's Masakazu Hashimoto; the movie I enjoyed plenty, and concept arts look pretty darn good so far.

But Professor Layton movie director huh? Not sure what to think of him. I saw the English dubbed movie at a large lecture theatre at the Perth Convention Centre earlier last month and it was... more a less a kid's film so I was quite neutral to it. Visuals were very reserved and of a "traditional" art style more than anything. I wouldn't even known it was by PA Works if I didn't research it.

Anyways, very excited for this.

Well, as long as Mari Okada doesn't get a hold of this series somehow (since she's done 3/5 PA's series so far), I'll be content. I like Okada a lot but... lately she's been on "party-girl" mode and doing whatever she wants with little to no restraint (See Black Rock Shooter

Actually, Masayuki Hashimoto (Professor Layton movie) is going to direct this one instead of Ohta.

So this is actually the new original TV series that Gen is talking about on new year day and somehow evolved into a film?

I'm more anticipated about this than the Madoka films.

Literally announced 5 minutes ago, the Little Busters anime adaptation has now been green-lit! The news was broadcasted on the Dengeki Bunko web radio #34 at around the 49 minute mark. It hasn't shown up on any Western news sites yet but you bet such a big news will hit in a few hours. Little Busters is also now a trending topic on Twitter Japan.
