Then the True Harem ending can't happen and all discussion about it will be for nothing. All of Lux's harem members are okay with the harem situation and their family members don't care about Lux being unable to marry. The only exceptions are Lisha and her family (Lisha as far as I know doesn't want to share Lux, though that might change (maybe it already has) and her family won't let them marry each other).

I did.
What I'm saying is that Lux needs a way break out of the New Kingdom's grasp. The secret of the Black Hero getting out would be a good start. I know Lux told the girls that he knows about their feelings and will them his reply if they all manage to get to Avalon safely and are able to get back alive from there as well. So there has to be a way for him to be able to marry them all if his answer is that he wants to accept all of their feelings.

While reading Volume 7, I came across the part where Mel's Devine Drag-Ride is revealed and I was really surprised. Ddraig Gwiber? From the name and also the appearance description, doesn't it seem like someone took two Drag-Rides and combined them? Even in the myth, too, Y Ddraig Goch and Gwiber are two different dragons. Rivals, even.

It seems like it switches the placement of the red and white parts when switching between Ground- and Flight-type Modes. So the red one being on top means Flight-type? Or am I mixing that up?
But yeah, Ddraig and Albion got referenced here. And in Magika we got a Ddraig reference. Is it just me, or is that myth really popular?

I mean, it's more like authors get influenced by similar works than the original mythology. Bahamut is a great example, because it seems like it's obviously inspired in the Final Fantasy interpretation more than the giant fish of Islamic tradition.
Author reads DxD, think that Draig is cool, look at the mythology and then put it on their own work. Gwiber is another good example: he's a flying serpent of Welsh mythology, but the only association I've seen of him as a the White Dragon is in a Japanese trading card game. |

The White Dragon is unnamed in the myths. If anything his name would be Y Ddraig Gwyn, which is 'The White Dragon' in Welsh (just like Y Ddraig Goch is 'The Red Dragon'). It would get confusing for the Japanese audience though, so I understand why DxD's author changed it.
Gwyber is a Welsh term that means 'serpent' and that was used for wyrms and flying serpents too, and has a small amount of myths attached to it, though none relating with the white dragon. I forgot about Albion's 'surname' though, thanks for that. I guess that is where the Japanese trading card game and Bahmaut's author took it from? |
