Macross - Music discussion (Part 1, pre-Delta)

New ED is pretty awesome, looking forward to hearing the full version, I'm expecting one verse to be slowed down completely, similar to how Infinity had a jazzy verse in the middle.

Also Diamond Crevasse/Don't Be Late is slowly but surely climbing to the 100k mark, if the OST (which had both songs on it) wasn't released so soon after the single I'm sure it would be over 100k by now.

Nyan~ nyan~ song slowly becoming a phenomenon. something i could've never imagine from the nyan~nyan song. This might be the next haruism(?) .

err... 8 months??? are you sure?. Macross F aired officialy on April 4, 2008(according Macross Compendium).. so it's hardly 4 months.

anyways you can't be too optimistic. I like the new remixes. I'm still trying to recover from the Moe attack

Some guy over there converted ALL MF songs so far to male versions They're surprisingly good especially Male!Sheryl and my favorite is Welcome to my fanclub's night XD There even is Northern Cross male version!

OTOH, Male!Ranka couldn't help but sound really, really gay. (shudder at Aimo )

Looks like Megumi Nakajima had a really good Ranka Lee concert at ZeppTokyo on 7/27 with approximately 2500 fans in attendance. May'n and quite a few other cast members from Macross Frontier were also there. Maaya Sakamoto appeared as a special guest and sang Triangular. May'n sang DC and Northern Cross. At the end, Nakajima and May'n sang Lion as the encore. ( wish I could be there)

I doubt they'll let her touch NC because it's basically her confession song to alto and I see it very hard for Megumi to sing Welcome to my My Fanclub's night. But What do I know? She sang the first part of Don't be late didn't she.. also the fact that "sheryl on stage" is part of the lyrics XD
