I only glimpsed through the WN parts of what I should have read in the LN. Some deviation in events, rearrangement of some lines, completely different lines that followed completely identical lines etc. etc., as well as squashing certain developments together in a loop, and expanding other parts. I would have to go through them again when I have more time to find all the exact differences, but it's actually low priority for me now, mainly because the main plot does not seem to be affected, and there is no deviation in terms of characterization due to the differences.
Overall, with respect to the changes, I cannot say which is better yet. For example Spoiler for v8 example comparisons:
But, despite the deviations, I couldn't shake off the cliffhanger in the LN of volume 8, so I proceeded to read the rest of the arc in the WN. Julius and Subaru confirmed best buds. Ending chapter of this arc was really satisfying to the MAX! And then I read the interlude after chapter 84: Spoiler:

ah, that's why I loved this novel. Subarun won't have time to rest and the despair train is still not stopping
I WILL ADD THIS ONE TO MY COLLECTION!!!! I feel that I already wasted money on index when I buyed the translated ones but since I started collecting it. I will just continue to buy it and let it grow old on my shelves.

They're mostly minor cuts of useless and long dialog as well as minor events.
The WN is really not well paced, and totally unfit for book reading or adaptation, so the omissions of dragged-out dialog is perfectly fine. Basically LN is more refined, which is pretty normal for WN>LN editing.

The fan translation for the novel never got very far (the anime is actually way past what the translated chapters covered). Most people discussing here can either read Japanese or have spoiled themselves silly reading summaries.
If you are willing to wait Yen Press has licensed the series and will start releasing it later this year (http://www.hachettebookgroup.com/series/rezero/?yen)

It's not referenced in the thread title, but this Novel has been officially licensed by YenPress, so you can't ask for any kind of fan-trans.
Actually, I think you can't ask for fan-trans at all, licensed or not. |

@Larethian: thanks for the information, thanks his comparisons and the spoilers, I have a question by chance know that history is displayed in the Ex volumes of Re: zero, so listen is a Spinn Off story by chance is true?.
It is a pity that WN skip some events of the LN, after all only WN exists for the reader to read both versions the WN/LN.

LN skips the events. WN (web novel) is the original version, LN (light novel) is the trimmed down, slimmer, more polished published version.

Satella may love Subaru but i believe she obviously want he to do something.
. Correct me if i am wrong but Subaru's power, "return by death" is in fact Satella's magic on him. . And its obvious that Subaru isn't the one choosing the save points so its probably Satella that saves every time Subaru advances to finish whatever task she wants done. |

Spoiler for Emilia:
Have anyone consider that maybe Satella wants Subaru to kill her? Maybe all the task he has to complete in order ti save his loved ones and reach another save point are part of a plan of the Witch of Envy to have Subaru destroy her for good, after all sheīs been sealed for centuries and part of her has something close to sanity. |
