I find that absolutely stupid that even barely average WM can slaughter people by bodyshotting them then using a 30-50% shot afterwards to finish them off.

A sniper should mostly rely on killing blows, as in either headshots or body shot at already wounded prey. Being able to pick on full health opponents by simply doing double/triple shots is just that moronic.
I suspect with the upcoming changes they may do something like that. I doubt they will change head-shot damage though. Problem is the countering of a really good Widowmaker, they are apparently almost unstoppable.

They might do something about the "toggle" abuse as well.
If you watch some semi-pro and esport videos of WM users, you will notice they will often switch between normal vision and scope vision in rapid succession so the rifle is actually always in a "in-between" animation state. This is to ensure the animation from going to scope vision will be shorter the moment they want to strike, and they gain a certain momentum by doing so. It acts like a "hop", kind of.

The other issue is that even flankers like Genji have hard time to deal with WM on certain maps when the only way to approach her is a single choke point which will be obviously covered by her line of sight.
For example, Route 66 is sort of an annoying starting point for Genji as a competent WM can just deny him any approach.

You know something is wrong when the only way to counter a WM is to... have your own WM.

Blizzard team in meeting.

Blizzard CEO: What do we learned from Overwatch's success?
Blizzard manager A: Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft and Heroes of the Storm needs a lot of waifu characters.
Blizzard CEO: Exacta. You got your pay raised. Let's do this starting today.

Thats the big part of the problem. I can't do that scope toggling thing it just feels so weird to me.

I always wondered how wm's could quickscope even with the slow toggle animation. I hope they address that, as I think there should not be anyway to circumnavigate that animation.

True. It's a weird hoe Widows can simply pump people full of lead. They should charge slower and do less body damage.

The image is amusing enough; I admit to being surprised that the artist didn't try drawing S76/Morrison without the mask (actually seen in one of the teaser videos). Reinhardt would be equally amusing as 'Team Dad' (curious artists have 'Dragon Slayer' for reference).

A lot of the problems with Widowmaker would be solved if they simply increased server tic rate and fixed the stupid huge head hitboxes. It's a handicap that really good players don't need anyway.

And either reduce Widowmaker's body shot damage or give Zenyatta and Tracer just enough health so they can't get one-shot with a charged body shot. Because that's just plain obnoxious when an opposing Widowmaker doesn't even have to get a headshot to kill with one hit.

Sad news for Heroes of the storm players. More pros and steamers jump to Overwatch ship.

Hanzo is a great counter. Believe it or not Reinhardt the Destroyer can be quite the force when you seek to destroy a Widowmaker. Iv managed on many occasions, hunted down the Widowmaker who is shooting at my Team. Because Reinhardt does have a long range attack(E button PC) But hey that's just me. I enjoy Reinhardt.

If the opposing team manages to let a stray Reinhardt to be that far to the point he can attack Widowmaker, they are either incompetent or idiots.
Hell, the fact a Widowmaker would let Reinhardt kill her with just fire strike is dubious at best.

I'm talking about his long range attack. But yeah, a widowmaker is as good as dead if she gets close to Reinhardt.

That's the point of my second comment: I don't see how you can even kill a remotely competent widowmaker with just fire strike.
It deals a flat amount of 100 damage, that's about it. Normally, Reinhardt would have to approach her considering she would be in a safe position from the opposing team hence why I stated that WM team shouldn't even let Reinhardt to be close enough to score that kind of attack on her. That's not even considering melee attacks.

...and only if some people woudl get the reference.

On an aside: What do you think are the chances of action figures of the Overwatch characters being released?
