I got them from Ang Mo Kio's branch, but I'm not sure whether they are still ordering. We placed special orders from them, they normal don't have Haruhi novels there.

I think you should try Kinokuniya, I ordered from CC because I have membership.

and do i use (Kanji) Suzumiya Haruhi No Yuutsu or use The Melanchony Of Suzumiya Haruhi? thanks :3

Manga? LOLOL me and my brother got the last 4 copies of both vol 1 and 2, right of the shelf and its currently out of stock in Takashimaya.

You'll have to search the other Kinokuniya or place orders

EDIT: I told the counter attendants to help me find 'Suzumiya Haruhi' light novels

Yes Haruhi exist in both novels and manga. The novels come in original Japanese and Taiwanese/Chinese versions. The manga aren't translated yet I think.

I don't think it would be that difficult..

My friend's brother in Singapore already has the SuzuHaru books. You can possibly look for them at Comics Connection too, since they carry a range of books. I'm usually familiar with the shopkeeper so I just tell them to order stuff for me.

They will call you once the books arrives.

I had a cute girl calling over and she said: " Su- Suzumiya... Ha- Haruhi no...*doesn't know how to pronounce Fungai, novel 8*, erm, has arrived..."

I laughed a little and she giggled at herself, then I told her I'll go there right away. I'm not sure which was the cute girl when I reached there though, there were 3

Or you can visit Kinokuniya once in a while and check with the counter, sometimes some of the books arrive earlier and you can pick them up before they call you.

Hmmm I hate using my phone lol, I only used it for photo taking and a mp3. Just visit the Japanese/Chinese counter and tell them you're looking for the Suzumiya Haruhi novels, they will search for you, you don't have to do the search lol.

1 novel/manga is around 13 - 15 SG dollars each.

There are 8 Japanese novels, 6 Chinese novels, 2 Japanese Manga.

Volume 3 Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody preview translated version is done. Just in time for Tanabata (July 7th, though strictly speaking, Tanabata should be on July 31st this year according to the lunar calendar).

Just a newbie dropping in, found out about Suzumiya Haruhi Anime only 2 days ago, the novel like 8 hours ago, and your wonderful translation project about 5 hours ago.

I appreciate what you guys are doing, helping poor peeps like me be able to enjoy the wonderfully wacky novel so that we can get more of the hilarity that is Haruhi without spending our non-existant and non-growing money supply (Ah the horrors of being a 15 year old).

You boys seem to have a database glitch that is making Bamboo Leaf Rhapsody unaccessable at this time. It seems accessable if you click edit though, weird.
