Nico turned out to be just as entertaining as she thought she'd be. She's a valuable addition to the group, since she is hard-working and very knowledgeable about idols. Nico Nico ni!
The other star of the episode for me was Rin. What energy she has! Her little demonstration on the roof was amazing. She is already another invaluable member of the team. She is going to put the stage on fire! Yep, her reaction when Umi asked her if she knew that Minalinsky maid was very suspicious. I'm pretty sure it's her.

It's good to see the nerd/geek/"diehard fan" archetype applied to the J-Pop Idol world. Nico pulled it off very well, and it made for a pretty amusing episode. I especially liked the way it spoofed The Legend of the Legendary Heroes.
The "persona" concept has a lot of potential, but they need to be careful with it. One of the real strengths of this show (and its character) is its resounding sincerity. In other words, these characters wear their hearts on their sleeves and there's real integrity to everything they do and say. I hope that any personas they adopt are generally reflective of their own true selves, and not a complete mask. Sort of like how many pro wrestlers try to take their real selves, and amplify and ham it up a bit in order to get their in-ring persona.
