Those "incidents" as yoy call them only start because someone always jumps to conclusions like they did for my post and start calling me biased when I in fact never memtioned anything biased related in my original post.

It's not my fault that there are people who judge because of my preference for my favorite characters and form their own biased opinions becuase of something I like.

Go and find my past posts I like to always state when it's my opinion, just because I forget to state it once I'm a troll?, just because english isn't my first language so it's difficult to express the word I need and to express myself well in written form I'm a troll?

So let me get this straight, I can't come to a thread and state what I felt or thought about something because some people didn't agree with me? Is it because I'm not going hnnnggg at the summary? Is it because I have my expectations low so I won't be let down when the volume releases by me coming up with my own version of how I want things to go?

So people here can come and keep bitching about how NT.10s ending was "bad", "horrible", "unnecessary", but I can't say what's in my mind? (I was ok with NT.10s ending by the way it made sense to me considering what her punishment was and I was one of the people expecting her to die).

I like Misaki just fine and am expecting to see how she met Touma.

Just because Mikoto is one of my favorite characters does not mean I go trolling, if the Mikoto haters think otherwise that's their own problem.

Whenever I talk about something I like to use facts, if there is something that I get wrong whem simeone points it out for me I thank them, hell if you go to my post history you'll find that I always like to state that if I'm wrong feel free to correct me and when someone does so in a straight forward and convincing way I like to go and find it again (because some even state where to find it and see it for myself and even agree and apologize if I have to for mixing up or confusing events.

I have NEVER made a post about me hating on a character, I like all the character (even index and she is my least favorite character), I never put one above the other because of my preferences.

I don't like putting down someone and calling them a troll just because I don't agree with them, while I appreciate someone trying to help I don't like it when they also use it as a chance to take a shot at me.

If people don't like my posts they are free to report them and let the mods decide.

I didn't like the summary because it represents all that is wrong with LN, manga and anime as much as I know that it is necesarry to hype up the volume and increase sales, it is still sometjing that I personally find bad. Instead of detailing something relevant about the content of the story itself (which as many here like to point out is what really matters) we get this fanbait that only promotes shipping wars (something many here like to try and avoid but still participate in).

But some here (the usual suspects) read it saw my avatar and jumped to their biased conclusion that I was being biased when nothing in my post even remotely seems like bias. I do admit that the way I write might send the wrong message but like I keep stating (getting tired of having to explain myself) it's how I write, it's how I learned to write and how I express myself in writing, if you don't agree with it no one is forcing you to read it just jump to the next post, I'm not changing my writing style just because some faceless posters don't like how I wrote something.

And he's just saying that because Misaki is a debut Railgun character. So he's just promoting that side. Nothing indicating that Touma will have less of a role since he's kind of the main man here that does the saving.

*proceeds back to my last post and then looks onward from there*

*sees summary that I apparently skipped over before*
Hype Level=1000
*proceeds to read the summary part about Touma trying to hit on Misaki*
Hype Level=5000
*gapes open-mouthed at it while reading about the indirect kiss and him saving her life*
Hype Level = 10032 > 9000

I'm calling it now. Touma will be losing his memory sometime during this volume and this will explain why Misaki always feels like Touma forgets about her and doesn't freak out about that fact. (Or she's really, really dense...)

I also believe that Misaki's definition of an indirect kiss is probably much more strict than Mikoto's definition. I feel like Misaki is a bit... more... mature... when it comes to that... even if she was younger at the time. (It makes me wonder if Misaki is really the age that she claims she is.)

I wonder what Misaki's level is right now, because she started out as a level 1. This should really be interesting. Also, it is ironic that the esper with memory erasing or granting abilities's fondest memory was permanently erased from the person that she experienced it with, and that she can't give the memory back to him, because it was "him."

I don't think is that, but I think I saw a post saying(to dengeki) that it would be nice if the volume was about Misaki and not just one of two chapters or just between the lines, that one guy echoed several opinion on the boards .

Was it necessary to answer? I don't think so.
But it seems dengeki is now sensible to the fans reception this time.

Ah but this time I have a basis for my claim. NT7's synopsis teased Misaki meeting Touma and sold more than normal. But it was also a betrayal as the synopsis only covered the first chapter.

What the twitter post has confirmed is that the synposis this time round is not a red-herring. Not only that, the Misaki-centric Railgun Arc has now concluded so her character is more popular than ever.

Basically, all the people who were betrayed now have a guarantee they'll get what they were originally promised. And some share of Railgun readers will go out of their way to buy the volume for Misaki.

Of course, an anime announcement would also boost the sales. But the real clincher would be spoilers that make the novel look favourable.

Its the spoiler thing that probably negatively affected NT9/10's sales. (On top of the focus being on Kamijou Touma and Othinus...).

The only thing I could see dragging down sales would be a campaign by the cult. (I really hate the cult).

@dniv don't worry too much about it bro, there is no such thing as un-bias posting, everyone has one whether they admit it or not. I'll be the first, I'm pretty biased but i usually keep that to myself.

If they do announce Index III, no campaign will even affect sales at all.

I think you're underestimating how much an anime airing/announcement does though. Spoilers are one thing, but an anime gives major boost & consistency to properties. They would also advertise that they have "new info" about Index III with NT11 which would increase it further.

NT9/10 was part of the slow decline with the lack of anything but straight LN releases.
