I imagine you could be if all you can do is 'access' those memories the same way you'd read a book or consult a database. If they're overlapped and mixed with your own, less so.

Unless Vegeta have some trick or new transformation up his sleeve, i don't see he can put up a good fight, even Goku can't put up a real fight with the help of Kaio-ken and must resort to Spirit Bomb. Or Jiren go light on Vegeta

Some new info on Saiyans from Toriyama's Q&A

I guess we finally have the answer for why Goten and Present Trunks could transform effortlessly(although it was a popular headcanon/theory already).

U6 Saiyans might also benefit for having much gentler environment overall.

This reveal made me think and I realized that it closed a few plot holes concerning a Saiyan's tail.

Spoiler for S-cell and Saiyan Tail Speculation:

Basically Saiyan's have tails because they have insufficient s-cells. As a result it gives them a different transformation (Oozaru) than those with high s-cell count (super saiyan). It may have even hampered their potential growth of strength as a result. Meaning a Saiyan with a tail can't become a super saiyan because it limits their s-cell growth. Basically tails were a mutation because they lacked the necessary power to form s-cells.

The growth of s-cells however also prevent tails from growing back because it is preparing them for the super saiyan transformation. This is why when Vegeta and Gohan lost their tails, it never grew back. After they lost it, both underwent massive power ups very quickly resulting in the s-cell levels skyrocketing and preventing the tails from growing back.

Goten and Trunks weren't born with tails because they inherited a large amount of s-cells from their powerful saiyan fathers. This also made it much easier for them to go super saiyan than the others. Gohan however was born while Goku was still weak by saiyan standards which is why he was born with a tail because it was during the time Goku was limited on s-cells. However Goku's gentle nature did give Gohan a slightly heightened amount of s-cells which is why he was prone to those bursts of power.

This also explains why the universe 6 saiyan have no tails. While they are still a warrior tribe, they grew up in much kinder environments. This means they were both strong and have a disposition more suited for s-cell growth. They had no need for a tail so they evolved out of it. That is why they are so easily able to obtain the super saiyan forms when compared to universe 7 saiyans. They are similar to Goten and Trunks in this way.

Looking at his performance against major figures such as Freeza, Perfect Cell, Majin Buu, Beerus, and Hit his chances of winning is obviously zero.... Though I do hope Vegeta actually makes his enemy (Jiren) flinch at least even if he cannot beat him. The guy deserves some recognition too. Or atleast beat Toppo before fighting Jiren.

I think Toriyama just borowed alot of krytonian tales. U6 saiyan evolve better rem cause they grew up on Planet Salad not planet Vegeta. Diff atmosphere. Theres no theory on tails since akira already admitted that he just forgotten to draw them. Earth is similar to Salad those saiyan there evolve much faster.

Vegeta already defeated several enemies in this arc. He even did team up with Goku in their Blue forms in the first episodes. The ones who often get the shaft in Super are Gohan and Piccolo and barely defeated some guys.

Guys read carefully. I wrote 'major characters' as a major enemy. Not just 'characters'.
I was talking about how he would do against a major character and in this case Jiren.
Hence I mentioned the fight against Freeza, Cell, and Buu.
