New Face
Well, been keeping track of this thread for the past few days, kind of hard to read all 250+ pages of posts while still keeping up to date. Especially given the speed of this particular thread. Definitely a moment when I go to sleep last night and wake up to 17 new pages. Will probably post from time to time, though of course, no idea how borked my mind will be by the end of all this, hmm, if there is an end.
Unknown what I can give to this particular project, we'll see. Can't draw worth crap (at least, untested), and mostly I am good at more technical things, managing computers and the like. But we'll see, not familiar enough with the novels to do any sort of writing at the moment. Have to go out and read them. About the IRC, they are fairly trivial to set up, and there are possibilities doing it online, with CGI-IRC and Pjirc and the like. Been toying around with Renpy for the past couple of days, possible foreshadow of what I could do. Who knows though. Anyway, just saying "Hello" and "pleasure to meet you all." JDGBOLT |

Do whatever you can. If we don't like it, we'll shout until your ears bleed. But any contribution is better than no contributions.
There are artists needed, you could try your hand at rewriting bits of the novel, whatever floats your boat. |

critnal: wait for your time to shine! don't believe in yourself, believe in me who believes in you!
I'd suggest lurking the whole topic, btw. Yes, it's several thousand posts, but the majority of those contributing the most at this point are ones who read through those posts, either by lurking through or by being there from the start. You'll eventually find something that piques your interest, something that no one else is doing, or has done yet. That's how you contribute. Sorry if any or all of this doesn't make sense. I'm crashing off of 4 energy drinks, and it's 4:30 AM. lol. EDIT: Also @ critnal, from what I've figured out, a lot of users went out and actually learned new skills, simply so that they could contribute to the thread. Specifically think of furyofthewolves... he went out and learned to vector just so that he could supersize the gender bent ISM signs... I mean damn, serious business right there. (Learning how to vector is on my list of things to do >_> Forceflow: I know right?! Also it was posted awhile back Still awesome. Last edited by CanadaAotS; 2008-03-27 at 04:54. |
