We might be able to get a download version of EP7 going before the final patch. Definitely no guarantees on this one though.

Oh, patch at 50%, by the way.

Do you mean an overall progress or the just translation (that is, without the editing)?

Wow! Then I guess EP 7 is somewhat of a short game then. So does that mean that editing error takes up more time than the translation or rather is it more easier to translate than it is to edit?
My apologies if this topic has been brought up before.

Since the EP7 translation is at 50% and the editing is soon to follow, we will start work with Hobibox on an EP7 download version.
Since EP7 includes EP6 and EP5, the EP6 download version will be shut down sometime between November 9 and 11. As a warning to new readers, please be aware that there's no way to upgrade from EP6 to EP7.

We also have discussed with Hobibox about unlocking downloads for other countries, and they are willing to consider this suggestion. The main issue is whether their servers can take it, so the number of countries eligible for the download will increase progressively.
if you want to see the download in your country, send us an email.

We hope to start the EP7 download version in the later part of November or whenever the 50% patch is finished.

Or you could just wait for the final patch, as opposed to those of us who want to read the patches as they are released.

That way everybody wins!

Yes. I'm waiting myself. Patience is a virtue.

Plus,... [Edit: Oh, so, Hobibox will be selling the NA download version early]

I'm not sure it's "short," but it's a quicker read. However, the editing is going to be pretty insane (there's a lot of stuff to tweak and get just right), so the mere fact that the TL is flying shouldn't be taken to mean everything.

That said, it seems to be just fine from the first patch, but the most complicated parts of the episode happen like right after the point where the patch leaves off.

When you say complicated stuff, is it possible to clarify what you mean without spoilers?

Just curious.

Well, don't take my word for it, but I believe its a lot harder when they translate stuff that references previous games, or there's a barrage of red and blue battles. Those seem like the hardest to translate because they're so exact, and they give off so much momentum as well. When something suddenly becomes so multi layered they might need to triple or even quadruple check certain text to make sure it's completely accurate. That's why high emotional scenes are harder to translate than a straightforward scene such as the flashback shown in this episode.
