The story ends without further details about it.
They were leaving the town. Shana just casually spoke about it while Yuji was pondering about the spell he found during the fight and wondering if he could find a way to utilize his "Dragon Tail" and "the Silver" (both were unusable after Dantalion's "death"). |

For rough translation:
"While talking unanimously, they walk forward on the endless path they've chosen. Step by step, with certainty." "Continuously walking without ending, overlaying memories of days passed. In order to change the future of this existing world." |

Did they just throw this short story now for some reason, o was it just random?
From the spoilers, the ending seems odd. Unlike Future/Hope, some questions are left unanswered, which is usually used by writters as a hook to further continue a story. Hopefully, this is the case here. Xanadu provides a large field for a sequel, althought I don't know if Yasichirou is busy with his new novel. Talking about which, is it even selling well? Lack of income is also another cause for authors to go back to their more sucessfull works.

Something's been bothering about Shana and Yuuji swordfights. Wasn't Blutsauger meant to severely wound the opponent upon clashing blades? Did Takahiro explain why this didn't happen at the final arc, when Yuuji was desesperatly trying to beat Shana, or he just forgot about it?

The only possible explanation to that is that Yuuji is so strong that he can use Blutsauger without supplying it with Power of Existence (and thus activating its wound-on-parry effect).

I think you have to supply more power to use that effect.
Anyway this Yahoo answers guy had a good explanation https://detail.chiebukuro.yahoo.co.j...il/q1083217830 Shana is simply a better swordsman and can parry or dodge before Yuuji can use the move. He also said Yuuji does mainly swing it physically and compensates for the slow swings with Dragon Tail, which he doesn't have in the last fight. |

Yes most of it, Hope, Future and Amphitheater which are kinda like Epilogues, you can find Hope and Future on the wiki as summaries and Amphitheater is pretty much the same as Hope so dont worry about it much, but also Elf Song made a Summary in this thread not so long ago
Kanae no Hoshi Vol 3 cover the girl on the left looks 100% like shana and it seems this novel is death right? I just hope they didnt do a spin off and it just died like that Last edited by LKK; 2019-03-18 at 20:45. Reason: Posts merged. Don't post multiple times in a row. Use the Edit button instead. |
