I can easily deny that. Higa's style is pretty distinct and I can tell when it's her right away. The movie 2nd posters so far have been done by the guy who does all the art for the main series.

Now if you mean in terms of composition and posing, then maybe.

A flaw that's no fault of the series itself. It's like saying Berserk is a terrible manga because new chapters come out so sporatically. The content is the same, it's just how we consume it that changes. Because all the business dealings and such that goes into deciding these things, it's not fair to blame the artist or the writer for the waits either (except in Berserk's case, where it really is the artist's fault because he takes his sweet time and Berserk is so insanely popular he can get away with it).

I'm not saying it is a story flaw, but it's a flaw nonetheless. Rate of consumption affects perspective, as can be amply seen here.

Force is one of those manga that's really shaping up to be one of those that's going to get at its best when read in one go.

Most titles with an ongoing storyline are best read in one go. Episodic titles are the ones that are okay with longer waits.

I'd say that Berserk's pacing is worse than Force, even ignoring the sporadic releases

I'm sure your average Berserk reader does not follow the story to see scenery porn or Griffith looking pretty

My impression of Force is the story moves like a weekly serialization, but it is released monthly. I think that's what hurts it. Monthly serializations have less leeway and should move faster.

I find the scenery porn in Berserk to be awesome. If I could frame all those awesome double pages Miura came up with, my bedroom's walls would be covered with nothing but that. Seriously, I gotta give props to a man who spend energy and dedication for the smallest details.

I'm having dejavu, didn't 2-3 of you partake in this conversation a few chapters ago? This'd be the time I question how many pages there are per chapter and the pacing of Claymore. Meh. It seems like some titles have more happening per month. So its in part the pacing of the story, pages used and monthly installments. it could feel more natural, more satisfying, meh I dunno.

Happy new year. Guess, I'm back again.

Which is part of the problem here . I agree with your impression whole heartedly. Which makes me wonder whether Force lacks a Certain ... "hunger" that was present in the first Nanoha and the As.

I am not sure if the story in Gears of Destiny is canon of not but there are some interesting things in there about Force and Thoma.

1. It seems like Thoma receive a lot of 'love' from Hayate and the others.
2. Lily and Thoma will be together foever
3. Thoma met Vivio before he met Einhart. Maybe the time is between SSX and Vivid.
4. The Hucks is still alive at that point
5. Lily is too moe
6. Book of Silver Cross is not the strongest device lol
7. Thoma is a lolicon. Do you think he needs to be arrested?
8. Thoma and Isis fight a lot
9. Thoma is traumatized and is suffering PTSD (Hayate is the cause)

Okay, from what I know, Thoma and friends get a lot of punishment from Hayate and gang in the form of training battles with Hayate, Nanoha and Vita usually for breaking training equipment all the time for their unique fighting style. Thoma and Isis are training partners and thus it is natural they have to fight.

Thoma knows Vivio via video conversation when she is 10. He might have known Einhart via Vivio during the Vivid storyline as he is still an orphan and have not went on his journey yet. Also, Thoma is not a lolicon. Heck, I think he is used to be around women seeing as he has been living with the Nakajimas and he might be in a relationship with Lily, seeing that they are sharing a bed in the latest chapter so yeah.

Force's problem with "sporadic releases" is only to non-Japanese readers who have to contend with slow scanlating pace. Even the Chinese group has fallen quite behind on both Force and Vivid.
Yet, think about your own American comics. They're monthlies too! Do people complain about them being slow?
If the scanlators were able to keep pace with the Japanese publications, this would not be an issue.

Nah, it's known already. It's the official Eclipse circle.

Silver Cross isn't a "device" in proper terms but yeah, it finally met his match in a little cutesy cat device x3

The game also have Reinforce confirming once and for all that the powers of a Divider/Reactor/Eclipse Driver are not magic.

Yeah, that also plays a big part in it.

I don't mind waiting. The key is to have something to do while waiting. I'm particularly psyched for Thoma's next job where he'll be doing a different sort of unison

SOUSEI GATTAI! GO, AQUARIOOOOOOOOOOON!!!

Just to explain what I said earlier.

Thoma and Lily are training partners and there is no denial about it but I see them fight in terms as arguement as well. Being a flat chest, Isis could be a tsundere and we will need to wait and see. I can see it will happen soon in Force.

Thoma is a lolicon because he would like to take photos of loli Nanoha, Fate and Hayate. Bullying other lolis as well, he is in a path to be a lolicon.

And keep in mind that Thoma's voice actor played Hasegawa Subaru in Ro-Kyu-Bu who said it himself: "Elementary schoolers are the best, aren't they?"

Most comics also have shorter plots than twenty-one chapter's worth most of the time, but we've been on the same thing with Force for two years. Not that that's atypical of manga, of course, but that's why they're different kinds of print.

Western comics also have other glaring issues, such as the constant reboots and the wildly differing characterizations between writers. And I imagine people complain about the release speed on them just as often as we do for monthly manga chapters.
