Shoot! Louise might have thrown up becoz of the Gs while piloting.... Graham also suffered the same thing, but I may be wrong.

Can't believe Setsuna is trying to pull a D-lujah with his Terminator Exia.

One surprising aspect of the new trailer was seeing the Ptolemy 2 travelling underwater at high speed using the GN Particles to supercavitate through the water... which is a sweet, sweet piece of real world principle applied to good use

Doubt that. GN-drive users don't suffer from G-forces much because of the mass-reduction effect. If Setsuna can go Tran-zam without coughing up his heart, Louise would practically have to travel near light speed to get G-forces which could make her cough anything.

Correction: Weight-reduction, not mass. Weight and Mass are two different things. GN Particles simply reduce weight, not mass. Even if the Gundams are lighter, they still have comparable mass.

(The correction was made by Mark Simmons himself, who was the one who mistranslated the HG Virtue info as "mass" instead of "weight". )

Still no news of Marina? I hope they don't cut out someone like her completely. Yeah she doesn't have much of a role in S1, but she did have one.

Marina has already appeared twice in the trailers (including the most recent trailer a page back), and featured twice in magazine scans. She's still the princess of Azadistan, though on her own now with Shirin no longer by her side.

Regardless, it is a fact that G-force is not an issue for GN-Drive MS. And that's all I am dealing with.

Which is why I didn't dwell on it. Just needed to point out that weight and mass are quite different, since people here seem to interchange the terms quite frequently.

This kinda reminds me of the situation in wing. I think there is a good possibility that Setsuna becomes Marina's personal guard after S2...

As for her role in S2, I think it would be more or less the same as in S1, but Azadistan's same old problem would magnify how the U.N. doesn't work all that well.

Maybe, but the core of the vessel design is derived directly from the previous Ptolemaios. Hell, this new ship could be a rebuilt Ptolemaios if Celestial Being was able to recover the other vessel's hulk.

I have a question: Why are the Earth Sphere Federation's MS red?

I thought they had dark to light blue uniforms.

The Earth Sphere Federation's mainline mobilesuit forces are probably still blue, just as we saw at the end of episode 25. But the Earth Sphere Federation isn't the badguys this new season, rather a part of it is, the Arrows, who are an elite division of the Earth Sphere Federations armed forces. They get their own special mobilesuits and all of their mobilesuits are decked out in red.

How very thoughtful of them. They are making it so much easier for Celestial Being to target the Arrows.

Blue MS: regular ESF pilot

RED MS: indiscriminate killers and oppressors. (Louise and Graham, among others)

Sergei, Cathy, and Patrick are not part of Arrows because we saw them as part of the main ESF peacekeeping army. Hopefully Soma isn't part of Arrows either.

Edit: I wonder who is that sitting in the captain's chair on Ptolemaios 2? You can see a shadow of someone in the bottom-left corner of this picture from the new trailer. Guesses?

I really hope they explain the politics between Arrows and the ESF properly. It would be nice if it's more than just a little bit different from the Titans and the EFSF.

I hope they don't portray the Arrows people as blood thirsty war-mongers either, at least some of them should sympathize with their enemies and seek peace.
