Hmm, It seem that Nodoka also has something with her left hand, too. And Sawaya seem not strong enough to beat the other since she said that she only play for fun. However, her attitude is quite same as Hisa.
Teru hyped Kyoko and she is going to watch the captain's match. @___@. Can't wait to see this match, it's gonna be awesome

Is it just me or the Saki on the last page means business? I think this is the first time I saw her with a serious face going to a match...

I'm looking forward to see the vol.4 cover of Shinohayu. It should be the first time we see either Kyouka or Yue in their highschool age.

Well, I hope Saki won't win the first 1-2 hands with Rinchan then get countered hard and goes into inactive mode untill all flashbacks of her opponants are finished.

Maybe it'll be one of the "villain" characters instead.

I was thinking the same thing, actually. For all we know it might even be something "supernatural", forcing Nodoka to finally consider something outside of her rational thought? Would love to see that.

And that was a perfectly reasonable, yet simple way to boost Nodoka's performance, potentially in the finals. We have seen Hisa preparing Yuuki for Teru after all.

EDIT: About the above post on Sawaya, from the translation I read, it's more like she said it'll be tough to win against the others, but let me have my fun too. So, Sawaya is up for this.

We also now know what the fall tournament is. The Kokuma or national tournament.
Pretty sure we will see it (one day)

To be honest Nodoka needs something at this point as she has more or less faded into the background during her matches.

Anyway, I was talking with a Japanese speaking friend and he said that Teru might not hate Saki that much. There is apparently some nuance that is missed in English when she is referring to Saki as "that girl". Instead its almost somewhat fond?

I'm just bringing it up to check because I thought Teru was distancing herself/being cold with not referring her to by name....

We'll no doubt get some answers finally in the finals. (Ha, I made a funny) They've been building up to it strongly in the semi finals here. Still probably going to be another 8-10 chapters to finish the captains round though.

Hmm, that gives me an idea. Maybe there is a possibility that we have things backwards. Maybe Teru is the one who did or said something she is not proud of, and is distancing herself from her family because of it, like she's not worthy or such. In other words, maybe we are being led to believe that Saki is the culprit.

Also, I'm bummed to see Kyouko lose her original outfit. I always thought it made her look very cool and unique.

Hisa is a master at planning. You could see the gears in her head turning when she remembered Nodoka is a lefty.
