Either that, or someone made the common mistake of confusing Shinichiro Watanabe with Shinichi Watanabe (the director of Excel Saga) and accidentally have delivered to Shinichiro the good stuff that the other Nabeshin usually uses when he makes his anime.

Fuck was wrong with this episode. I had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't high...LOL
Animation is great as always, but the strange level was over 9000!!! Strangely, I liked it...XDD

So I'm assuming Kaiba's a really old anime/manga? This episode it based on it? If you don't mind, can I get a minor summery of it? Nothing long, just sum it up in about 2-3 sentences.

Well, this episode started differently compared to usual what with the into focusing on the war between the two empires. A failed weapon leads to a blast of that unstable element mentioned in like episode 2 or 3.
When the trio visits Meow's home, the blast hits the planet causing an endless time loop to begin. Blockhead, Bonehead, and Pinhead eventually notice that they can predict the future and think they have superpowers on the hundred-somethingth loop only to be corrected by the narrator. Still nice to get some character development for Meow in the second half with some insights on his relationship with his family. It was actually quite nice. But then it cut to the heroic battle for tomorrow between man and paper calendar. Ohh...and Katie coming out of the closet to Meow was just too much. My sides were in pain...my sides... Seriously, though. Those parts with Meow and his dad were simple but effective and powerful. I have to hand it to the staff. That was a great episode and a type of story I generally tend to enjoy. Next episode...an overdue library book triggers a large scale war...?

For moment there I thought we are getting plot progression on why the Gogol empire wanted Dandy. Its the same energy mentioned by Dr. Gel in episode 1.
Well the Jaicro empire Ideon-Voltes combining- Gaigaogar robot which is their ultimate weapon. Dandy being worst at everything except being a Mech pilot I'm expecting a fight later. Betelgeuse produces nuts, screws and learning computers... The last part maybe Jaicro outsources fromthem. Meow's nickname is Mii. He really is a cat. |
