Well that is one way to describe Senate republicans finding him innocent of what House democrats eventually settled on impeaching him for, seeing as they couldn't impeach him for something they had been doing to him since before the 2016 election.

There’s consequences for protecting him for something and expecting that won’t be used against him in the future. They let him get away with targeting political rivals. Now they can’t protect him from said political rivals. They made it legal by letting him off.

Pears to apples comparision. bin laden was a human, hamas (just lik al qaida and isis) are organizations. Also, prince "I torture, kill and quarter periodists in embassies" seems less an ally of the USA than his father was, so maybe he will funnel resources if Israel goes the "an eye for an eye, and then some" route with the invasion of Gaza.

Israel going "an eye for an eye and than some" is an understatement.
Netanyahu's actions are far more in common with Russia than Ukraine. and they're doing this with US tax money and approval from some demographics. I don't think the US learned the right lessons from 9/11 //

The lessons the US learned from 9/11 are irrelevant to Israel's reaction to Hamas murdering hundreds if not thousands of Israeli civilians in an unprovoked sneak attack.
And Israel's reaction to said attack has nothing in common with Russia invading Ukraine. |

Well, Israel might **** them up a little too hard with their reaction. And it'll be yet another thing that western politicians will have to play defense for, making awkward excuses for why it doesn't count as genocide or war crimes.
