Does anybody know if I can marry Farkas? I have the amulet but no "marry me" lines show up So far the only eligible persons were shopkeepers I helped :/ Another question. Where do you guys store your stuff? These dragon bones and scales are heavy as fuck...I'm using a follower to carry them for now XD If you buy a house, do you get a chest or something there? I have about 10k now, so I can buy a house somewhere nice. Any suggestions where I should buy it? @Dist Go to the Companion's base in Whiterun and talk to..hmm can't remember his name, but the guys there will tell you who to talk to, so no worries.

The best idea is to join the Thieves Guild :P *proud member* Go to the inn and talk with a shady dude there, he will put you under test. But beware, you need some lockpicking and pickpocketing expertise, or a potion to enhance the skills to make it easier.

Pff, you pretty girls and young-uns think you are dragon slayers? Let me show you what a real veteran warrior looks like: Yes, he's old. Yes. he has a grey beard. And yes, he is a wizard capable of frying you with barely a second glance. Stereotypical wizard? Sure. And he will defend that badge of honor to the death. Just ask the dragons, he eats them for breakfast. Dorvir, here shown hunting down some vampires that were between him and his loot. Dorvir's been sneaking around back in the day you thought stealing cookies when your mom wasn't looking was impressive. If you see him, that means he likes you. If not... well, best watch your pockets. And your back. It might become a beehive of arrows soon. Old geezers saving the world. You don't see Hollywood pulling that, now do you? |

I think grandpa there needs to go easy on the action, you wouldn't want him to break his back? Maybe he can join the Greybeards?
I named my girl Torhilda, from the Scandinavian "torhild", meaning "Thor's battle" . Too bad I didn't go for the hammer specialisation

I started a new game, as I think I was too random on what I leveled up. I know Skyrim's enemy level system is far more dynamic than Oblivion's, but my 1-h skill was like 75, with my next highest skill still being in the 30s, and I was finding some glass armor on corpses and getting two shot way too much for my taste, despite being only level 20.
This time around, I'm going two handed warrior with heavy armor and almost no magic outside of heal spells, while using my shouts a lot more as my offensive magic. That said, at only level 10, my 2-h skill is already almost twice as high as the next highest skill, so it may not be possible to keep defensive and offensive skills closer to each other without cheesing it, ie: letting things wail on you while you just stand there. I'm also noticing that 2-h swords have far fewer fatalities compared to 1-h swords. In fact, I've only seen three so far for 2-h swords, with the impaling through the stomach happening about 95% of the time. Another thing I find interesting is how random loot is. This time around, I've been getting far better loot than my first character. I ran out of my first cave at level 3 with a 45 damage 2-h (your starting 2-h is like 19-21 damage I think). Lol. I guess the RNG on loot is pretty...random. Though, there's obviously still big room for better loot, since my first character has a 1-h weapon that is 45 damage. Can't wait to see how high the damage can get on a 2-h as I get further into the game. My new character who's dream is to join the Imperial Legion and grind the hippy resistance into bone meal: There's going to be a tough stretch when Dwarven Armor (heavy) shows up as I refuse to wear it. It's so bulky and ugly. So, my AC is going to take a dive during those levels I guess. Might pick up some armor spell(s) to compensate during that period. I do wish someone would mod all helmets to go into the ring slot or something. Sure, it'd mean you have to give up the ring stats, but the armor bonus of wearing a full set of armor, which includes helmets, is just too good if you're going to be playing a 2-h or dual wield melee. Weaving like you're drunk only gets you so far. Lastly, you can enter the console via the ` key. Then type: showracemenu Make sure you exit the console before trying to make changes to your appearance. Obviously, save first. I believe as long as you don't change your actual race, but use it for cosmetic changes to your current race, your skills/stats won't get screwed up. Oh, and you can also use: tfc for a free camera (tfc again to turn it off). Useful for taking better screenshots. tm to hide the UI. Also useful for taking better screenshots. Be careful though, everything vanishes, so don't panic. You won't be able to see the console, but you can go ahead and type tm again to show the menus again. Edit: I feel bad for the weekend testers of SWTOR. Good thing I've already burnt out on it, or this would have been an agonizing weekend.

I now have a house, a husband, and a wardog ;D
You need to buy the Amulet of Mara from Maramal in Riften's Temple of Mara for marriage. I also got one as random loot, so I have two now, lol!
