Agreed, sucks for him too! Sorry Miki-san, but you'll have to stick with Mayotama much longer!

Are there any official confirmation that Miki is male? To me Miki's sex may be ambiguous, and the trajectory may change in the case Miki is in fact a female.

Well I can say that Miki is male, judging from his naked body alone as seen on this week's episode.

The ED song strongly reminds me of some other song. So strongly that I feel if it was sung in English, I'd recognize it. I saw the translated title in the opening post but it didn't ring any bells. Does anyone else think the ED song reminds them of some other song?

I hope I don't derail the thread too much, but I see a strange issue here. Hajime, after all, codes for a living, but where he puts his programming literature was never mentioned (not even in manga). I wonder if that is part of the reason otaku stuff started to overflow from his room; he needs some space to keep his docs...

Yeah, I heard that too... only a bit faint for what I heard previously!

Meanwhile, I think Mayotama-kun should stick to Seinen instead of Shonen Genre... or set his career on a Bara magazine!

So, how often does a shonen mangaka in real-life have yaoi background...?

Also, 1.55m... Mayotama is really short.

I don't know how common it is but I do know some BL mangaka who also do shoujo and shounen. Yana Toboso who's the mangaka for Black Butler/Kuroshitsuji, also did yaoi for some of her earlier works. And the two that I know of also contain shotacon.

Being Miki is suffering.

Will he able to run away from the trap the destiny set up on him?

The bigger problem is: Is he actually a man? Several scenes in this episode can be interpreted as he is actually not.

I have to take back what I said that Miki-san is male, but you're right about Miki's questionable gender thanks to him (or her) bathing last!

Now I'm curious about it, SamCurt.

Come on! If Miki would have taken the bath with everyone else he would have been attacked by the trap!

It's not only the bathing. It's also in the room splitting part; at 00:36 Miki blocked off Mayatama by saying the Ryokan is gender-segregated...

Strictly speaking this episode (6) is based on a a spinoff called My Girlfriend without Wasabi (Sabinuki Kanojo).
