I didnt realize this was a franchise game but most games that have that anime feel to it tend to be bad so in the past I've tried to avoid it, the exceptions being the Breath of Fire series. I might pick it up later depending whats out on the market at that time. Xbox 360 is lacking in the RPG department and i figure the PS3 would have had this instead.

It seems that Namco wasn't ready to let that info out. So they have denied it is going on the PS3 and "corrected" the list on the site. There were other new games on the list. It is pretty much confirmed, Namco just slipped up and wanted to keep it under wraps. I just hope that the PS3 version gets a release in NA. I'd like to get ToV for PS3.

That can be explained easily. Mag news is slower. This unofficial confirmation (basically, it is confirmed), by means of info being posted on the Namco-Bandai site, happened in the last 48 hours. GI had this info on their mag based on the official details of the game, from Namco-Bandai, from a couple of weeks ago. Namco-Bandai has it that the game is only for X360, and after the slip up with a PS3 ToV on their site, they still deny it, and therefore, to them, the official word is the game is only on X360. It is likely confirmed via the grab of the chart from the site before it was taken down. Most likely, Namco-Bandai will officially announce ToV for the PS3 in time.

I wonder if these "slips" are actually intentional?
Well, it was expected to happen anyway. Tales games do better in Japan than over here, and frankly, I can't see how a high profile Tales game can remain bound to the 360 exclusively considering its performance over there. The next thing would be to decide which version to get. Will the later version have added content, and so on. Then again, this could still prove to be an honest mistake on Namco's part, so until it's officially announced for the PS3 I'm going to consider this as "unconfirmed" in the meantime. |

Also your post is kinda confusing, your saying this for people who have a doubt on the PS3 release, but trying to give proof against it... |

Demo now up on the Japanese marketplace. What language it downloads in will depend on your console, so if you have an English one the whole demo will be in English.
