all the suncoasts in my area just shut down
this is where i usually buy all my comics.
does anyone buy manga at borders or barnes and nobles? do they usually carry a complete selection? anyone know why suncoast is closing? i like suncoast because they had dvds magazines and music CDs. i dont want to get eaten alive on shipping fees for small dollar items. |

Huge story about MediaPlay (which is Suncoast's parent company) and how they were downsizing, which is the reason Suncoasts are being closed....
As for Barnes and Noble, they have a fairly decent selection, most series are complete, but the ones in my area didn't have near the selection as my Books-a-Million did. BAM, however, had fewer complete series. *edit for clarification*I don't mean that all Suncoasts are being closed, but many are.

How about Amazon?
They have KoF 2003 Volumes 1 to 4 available (is that what you are after?). King Of Fighters 2003 Volume 1 |

Here are some more sites for buying Chinese manga that I think very few people know about:
They all ship from the U.S. The first 2 sites offer pretty cheap shipping via USPS Media Mail. http://www.chinesecomicstore.com Mostly used yaoi manga, but there's some shounen/shoujo as well. They also have a ebay store and I've ordered from them many times. http://www.jcbooks.biz/ They sell new and used Chinese manga, and they just started an online rental service (the only online manga rental place I know of). They have a pretty big selection of 5000+ titles. I haven't tried them out yet but from my correspondance with them so far they seem pretty reliable. http://www.comickingdomusa.com/ Prices seem somewhat cheaper than Yesasia but no free shipping. Haven't tried this place out yet. |

Well there are plenty of online stores located in China, Taiwan, HK, Singapore that will ship to the US or any other country (with very expensive shipping charges). For general Chinese book stores located in the US there's also paylessbookstore.com and asiade.com. Paylessbookstore also carries about 4 manga titles in the cheap 4page-in-1 format (which mainland Chinese people might be familiar with). These sites are Chinese but they ship from the US. Let me know if there are any other stores I haven't mentioned. |

Could anyone recommend a good place to get Japanese manga from, online? Some place whose main focus is Japanese manga. Since I'm searching for older and/or less known things, a timid "Imported manga" section most places have just doesn't offer what I'm looking for.
