Well now, this has been the biggest surprise of the season so far for me. Really enjoyed that first episode, it was not what I was expecting at all. From the title I thought it would be another mess like Kimi to Boku. The guys here actually act like guys instead of...hell, I don't even know how to describe the guys in Kimi to Boku. Metro? Ultra beta?

It's actually refreshing to see something if this genre doing well. I've always waited for this kind of show. Teenage boys doing silly things. Not to mention, the title pretty much fits the entire theme of the show. Ah~ I haven't laughed so hard in a while. No. |

Was the OP supposed to be a spoof of the usual shounen anime openings? The song and sequence sure felt like it. That's pretty much the only reason I can think of to make myself like the OP otherwise.
That aside, good start. Sugita is a master at reading out internal monologues. A bit dull because I've already watched the pre-air skits several times before this. Would have loved it much more if I hadn't done that. Very much looking forward to the non-pre-air portions. One minor complaint is that I wish it actually had a bit more budget in it, just enough to not make basic movements look jerky. Alas, this kind of show normally doesn't warrant such funding. |

So this is like Lucky Star, only guys somewhat...
That a shota-con sounding title too. First half was okay, the character designs are really plain. But the nameless girl characters are actually pretty amusing. I like the guys' little sister, and the end with the girl that randomly sits next to the guy at the riverbank was hilarious with the internal monologue. Was cracking up, then the end when she dropped her little story. Not really sure why she starting smacking the guy that mentioned the potato chips, was it because he ruined the mood? I hope she's a reoccuring character...

lol, now that was an awesome first episode. I liked it even more than Another's premiere episode. The jokes' delivery is just spot on. And I love the chara designs. Seem to fit with the kind of series this is
Oh and my fav. part was when Tadakuni turned out to be the only one who wore the skirt

Guess going to an all boys school can make any guy a little crazier than usual.
Those three sure are idiots most of the time. At least a had a few laughs watching this. The random parts of their lives instead of a connected story made it different from other anime of this kind, but I didn't like that much.
