The thing that attracts me about this show, besides Shinbou and Shaft, is the name of the anime character designer: Nishida Asako (as mentioned by sirn). I loved her work on Simoun and Touka Gettan and was just wondering when she would get another show. Great to see her linked with Shinbou.
I'm intrigued to see the uber-cute Oogame Asuka get the lead, thrilled that talented Katou Emiri is becoming one of Shinbou's go-to girls for secondary characters, and happy to see Nonaka Ai get a role. The same author's "Usotsuki Miikun to Kowareta Maachan" (mentioned by kemal_1915) is being scanlated on Mangafox. Definitely not your usual fare. Three chapters of the Denpa Onna manga are scanlated in Chinese: for instance, ttp://www.imanhua.com/comic/2013/ (links at bottom of page).

And yeah, the anime design looks like something straight out of the novels. Excellent.

Anime original design:
I think the original design done for the anime looks great. Though, I like Buriki design for the novels, which is even more great. But what worries me is the style of animation Shaft gives to their series... hope they make a good job with the animation instead of abusing with the camera angles and a lot of signs everywhere.
