I don't believe it! I can't believe it!!!
In Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! 2009, Touma (3rd in male, 3rd in mixed) beats Mikoto (5th in female; 9th in mixed). I feel I don't understand how people think now. The novel itself ranks 4th.

This year is a big win for Bungaku Shōjo, it ranks first in novel department, and its heroine wins in both female and mixed (no sex segregation) characters department. The one wins male character department is from Baka To Tesuto To Syōkanjū (can't find any thing about it in English), and since he is a trap, he is also allowed to compete in female character department and comes out at 10th place... and second place in mixed.

I have SS2 sitting on my desk but for some reason I have no motivation to read it, probably because of the massive catch up I did.
So a question to the people who have read it... does anything remotely interesting happen?

Well, That's rather difficult :/
Anyway, I'll just outline some details; I suppose none of these are spoilers. -The Lead character in this volume is Accelerator. -Touma is not mentioned in this volume. -The volume does go around the battle between some organizations inside academy city. -Not necessarily battle royale, thy're all just after one thing, which you could say is the key to this volume. -The battles are bloody too. (oh yes, definitely R-18) -Lots of new characters. -Magic side not mentioned in this volume. -Appearances of 2 other Level 5 ESPers. Well, that'd be the rough outline. Hope you enjoy the volume, cuz I didn't much :/ |
