LOL, Tsukamoto's reaction is priceless when he got picked for the last spot on the team:
Spoiler:
Good episode this week. While Tsukamoto isn't as good as the other players, he brings spirit, energy, and good values to the team, something that I don't think any others can at his level. Plus, the kid has a lot of determination to win despite his underdog status. I hope he improves soon as well, just gotta practice more.

This was a good episode but I can't help feeling how unrealistic it is. I know this is anime but it is quite far fetch for someone like Tsukamoto to have been picked for the team at this point.
Anyway, realism aside, I can't wait to see Tsukamoto improve and show everyone his hidden talent. ...and that Manager girl was getting very annoying at the beginning of the episode. Although I agree with her scolding of Tsukamoto on the train.

Another solid episode this week. This show will be 10 times better once they remove all the crappy crying it has.
For the life of me I don't know through whose mind it passes that it makes the story compelling. It doesn't in the least.

What bothers me too about this anime/story is how people give a crap about Tsukamoto. In the real world, if you lack decent skills or the respect of others, most people would mind their own business and not bat an eye at you. I just wonder why this formula of manga/anime continues to sell or be promoted in Japan.

Because people do give a crap about effort. Tsukamoto's effort is almost inhuman. People respond to that, especially in sports. If you have a team full of people that are already talented, adding that one guy in with effort adds energy to team. That's realistic in sports.

Episode 6:
Kimishita looked like he wants to kill someone this week LOL Good episode. I also kinda like that Indou guy and I want to see the best out of him from his upcoming match. The ending gave me a good laugh, too bad Tsukamoto didn't manage to score. Those new shoes are quite something though.

I cringed so much with all the offside passes this episode. It was really painful to see.
Other than that, it was a good episode with a lot of content shown. The interesting thing to note is that it was mentioned that Tsukamoto would be relieved of his spot as a regular when Mizuki returns, but Indou specifically states that Tsukamoto would be needed in order to defeat his team. I wonder how that will play out?

But, since it wasn't declared, it's enough to rationalize the potential offsides dilemma away.

Why the hell does everyone in this show act like the MC is the God of Soccer who has descended upon the Earth? The guy is USELESS. He can't even kick a ball right. Nobody in their right mind would take him on the team just because of "potential". This show is really poorly written.

He needs to stop running and actually start playing soccer for once. This is not a marathon, Tsukamoto. Plus, he needs to train with the actual ball and not just run around the fence all day. I hope he begins to do something else aside from running real soon because this is getting dull fast.
