Well, it's really no different than people who keep buying every new version of any gaming franchise (think wartime FPS games, sports games, Sims games, etc.) All that matters is -- are you enjoying it? If so, money well spent, IMO. Originality is overrated.

BTW, URL for the game: http://www.sweets-games.com/dcif/. The site hasn't launched yet, though. That being said, if we want to have extended discussion of the game, we should probably create a game thread. But it's certainly related to this OVA in any case.

No, just two parts, as it's based in the D.C. I universe (so, only two boxsets). I suppose that, someday, when they release D.C. II boxsets, they could always have a D.C. II I.F. OVA series, but for that we already have the manga (which is where this whole idea came from in the first place).

I hope not. Unless it's focused on Koko. Actually, I decided to pass on the first D.C. boxset and get the second one.^^U Heretic, I know. But with the exchange rate the way it is, I just can't justify re-buying D.C..

Yeah, tell me about it. I've already pre-ordered it, but I'm teetering on the edge of canceling for the same reason. This exchange rate is killing me here. Plus, I already own all the DVDs (and it sounds like they're just repackaging them, given that the disc counts and contents are the same except for the added OVA), so I would really be buying it only for the OVA... As you say, it's almost heresy to not buy it, but yeah...

Exactly. I have the four original boxsets. The only D.C. series I never bought was D.C.S.S., which is why I'll likely get the second boxset. ￥25,200 is just too much for one OVA for me. And yet, I did pre-order D.C.II.P.C.LE... Still, one has to draw the line somewhere.

Coorie, yozuca, as expected, good songs. Even though Da Capo is Dame Po, the themes have always stayed enjoyable...

...Fufu, even though it was "focused" on Kotori, the major event still revolved around Nemu.

Well, it was a decent episode. Rather than the story, which was just half school life and half glooming over Nemu's death, the appearance of all of the old characters (Ouwaa, nostalgia...) was more exciting. Haa, it's definitely a relief to see Mako and Moe again... What was that doctor from the Da Capo II... That was horrid...

Shame there wasn't a real OP and just had music play.

Time to wait for the continuation... I just hope this doesn't become Dame Po ~if like the second season of Da Capo II turned out by the end...

PS: No point and I shouldn't bother mentioning it, but Junichi did well to teleport... I mean, run really fast to somehow catch Kotori from falling...

The two sisters won't exist. Of course, this is just an "if" Junichi-->Kotori, so there isn't much to think about there. "if" doesn't connect to DCII...

Main reason is that most people haven't seen it yet. I assume the thread will see a lot more action once that happens. I personally just decided to wait 'till the DVD arrives, unless a fansub appears before then.
